i don't recomand waiting for n8 because n900 already exist!Maemo/Meego is a more powerfull OS than all symbian's.I know that nokia make a division of it's devices and from now high-end class is with meego os and middle class with symbian^3 and the upcoming symbian^4.PS!the only thing which is attractive at n8 compare with n900 is camera!If photos are one of your priorities I recomand to wait for the n8!

i have to disagree with you. Since N8 is Symbian and N900 is Maemo, it's obvious N8 cannot do everything N900 can. 1st thing that comes to mind is Flash. N900 have full flash while N8 will have Flash Lite4. Sure N8 will have more applications if Symbian^3 shares apps with Symbian^1 aka S60v5.

just bought a new n900. loving every second of it. can't get my hands off it. its way convenient to use. one thing though i cant get the FM radio to work. any suggestions? thanks.

How long does the battery hold while watching divx movies continuously in "offline mode" (if it has one) that means no network searching, half brightness and most apps turned off ?

its full of powerful and user friendly features but it has one BIG yet disappointing problem, battery life. i made it stay connected to 3.5G and the skype, and the battery was a bit more than half, and my friend called for about 5 minutes, and it ran out! i cannot stay online as claimed, 'online as it happens'..... i need to buy a battery spare.
