Now that you've got your N900 plea... morethe battery life could be alittle better but firmware updates will fix that in the near future as if you can see nokia highten the support on this device so their are gonna be more or bigger updates since it' more like a computer then a phone
i just went through two updates and i am really happy and satisfied
i've downloaded numerous applications and i have to for a devce that just came out their are alot
the keyboard is not a problem since i'm use to using the nokia E70 so having the spacebar on the right side is no biggy
everything for this smartphone/tablet hybrid is beautiful and it's fast so the ads and videos on youtube show it's true speed

I want to purchase this phone.can any one suggest me any good shop in bangalore india from where i can buy this phone.I know its nt available in india yet.May be grey market or so.Please let me know

Dear Nokia & Maemo,
Hope the following issues will be solved very fast:
1)- Dial *121#
2)- Battery life.
3)- portrait Mode.
4)- Video Call
5)- MMS.
What the reason makes you delay in supporting/adding the above in the latest up-date??!!
Please, we all are eagerly waiting for these to be added.

nokian900, 20 Jan 2010this is an INTERNET TABLET... does it mean that it sucks as... moreiphone, can we say it is ipod with basic phone? Nothing wrong with internet with phone or psp phone.

Hey guys just brought this fone frm my frds store in bandra fr 32k,,,,its really awesome...will play more with it and let u all know...wass very confused between N 97 and N 900....thanx guys u all helped a lot...

i never realize that human improve so much in mobile phone technology, i will say that n900 is the best phone human ever made. i will surely bless this KING n900

Now that you've got your N900 please give us your take on all the postings about the poor battery life and poor telephone abilities?
My own view is that I can't even get 2 hours out of my own laptop so several hours from the N900 would be OK by comparison!

Not all handsets (not just the iPhone specifically) with bluetooth have the capability to send and receive files. I've heard (but not had it confirmed) that many HTC's also face this issue, and the BlackBerry's certainly don't make it a fast easy job as you have to physically pair the other device first. The Palm Pre also makes it a nigh impossible task.
As it happens, these are all software lockouts, and they can generally be solved by unlocking the operating system, although in many cases this voids the warranty on the device, and can cause other bugs and issues to appear.
It really does get me that many people think this is an iPhone only problem.
That said, with the exception of the occasional picture, how many people actually send music files and things to mobiles now? The last time someone asked me about it (and I work in a phone shop!) was a 13 year old kid, who wouldn't have the money to buy this kind of product anyway.
Common sense people, come on.

hi friends ,
i have been useing this phone from almost 6 weeks awesome internet tablet not a good phone .
but there are some things which i noticed after useing it i would like to share .
the phone application on this unit is very backward i mean there are a lot of things missing in phone application if u are on phone u can not have more then 2 lines at a time i mean in conference call this phone only gives u 2 lines u can not add any other line so sad :(
no2.it dose not support blue tooth head set i mean i can connect it to bluetooth head set but its not working properly while you are on phone its disconnect by it self and some time you cant even hear anything and the phone is still on and the phone shows the call is active its very difficult while you are driving so i will advise those who drive a lot like me don't use this phone its very dangerous nokia need to be done some more work with this phones blue tooth handling.
last and main thing as a phone this set dose not have any home button which is very very disappointing people like me who were waited for this phone months and preorder it they are very disappointed i believe we can use this device as a internet tablet but not as a phone
Nokia please fix all these bugs people like me are very disappointed after using it .

no i dont agree that capacitive screen ios better .
I just want my phone to look not cheap and no pressure force is need while typing text and browsing
capacitive on x6 is a falirure with that boring symbian os. And without multitouch on it is just not the things that can catch the eyes of today teenagerss
multitouch is not only good for pinch zoom but also help typing experience on onscreen keyboard, iphone just does it amazing
yeah, iphone is stupid phone and copy many other patents illegally

N900 more than just a phone !
Am so satisfied while using it for browsing, music, large memory capacity, sound quality is amazing !

I wish nokia would mk a capacitive version 2 this with potrait view.The phone is nice but they need 2 push out more smar tphones with this OS so ppl can choose what they prefer.

hi i start using n900 from past 15 day's it's ultimate phone thany u nokia i have aquestion i dont know how i use this phone in video call becouse i can;t find video call optition in phone if anybody know please reply me camera is very good video playback very good i love this phone

better to wait for the arabic keyboard & the official arabic software from Nokia, rather than downloading the arabic applications and then problems starts to appear...:)
