Hi guys,
I only have one question: does this phone operate only in portrait mode? I can only find images and films of it in portrait mode... I love th phone and i'm about to buy it but if it mainly works in portrait mode it's a downside for me. Always have to use both hands?? =|

Though I had mentioned in the past how N900 is the best phone on the market, but I won't make statements like that. How more is a Finland phone better than a China phone? They all use similar technologies.
By the way HTC stands for High Tech Computers... Weird but true

Im not one of those people who haven't seen/or even touched the device and start complaining.
I have used both the phones, owning the N900 and the HTC HD2 being My friend's(which he regrets buying it and keeps saying that the HD2 IS ONLY HYPED!)
Well about the speakers, I said "STEREO", I didnt mention anything about the loudness of either phone speakers. And I think many will agree that STEREO SPEAKERS ARE BETTER THAN MONO SON, cuz I don't knoe about you but I ain't among those peeps who play their MP3's through their phone speakers and think its oool*, so N900 DUAL SPEAKERS ARE LOUD ENOUGH FOR YOU TO HEAR IT AND FOR PEOPLE AROUND YOU WITHIN 20-25 METERS..I m not interested to make the world hear it :) .
And for the loaded memory card issue..try it for urself and lemme knoe..SCROLLING THROUGH THE PHONE AS WHOLE BECOMES LAGGY..trust Me!
*I HAVE NO ISSUES OR GRUDGE WITH EITHER PHONES, Im JUST MENTIONING THE FACTS..AND ABOVE ALL YOU CAN'T COMPARE THE HD2 WITH THE N900..THE N900 IS AN INTERNET TABLET NOT A SMARTPHONE IN THE FIRST PLACE*

I love my nokia n900, it's the best phone I have, selling my iPhone 3gs to get the money back I spent on my n900 plus some left over lol. Oh and by the way, this is a n900 opinion forum post. So people who have other phones talking mess about the n900....why? Are you seriously that jealous for you to waste 2-5 min of your time to post a derogatory comment of the nokia n900? Get a life, seriously.

I have gone through the N-900 specifications.I have few queries which are as follows:
-Can one enjoy the MMS facility after downloading its supporting software?
-What about the Java updates?Is it possible for one can have it in near future?
-Can one have the personalised ringtones?(i.e for each caller)
Hoping for the answers to queries as soon as possible.

No s... morewow you obviously never used the hd2 because the first thing on your pathetic list was the dual stereo speakers on the n900, which you would know if you used both the phones that the hd2 one speaker is way louder for music and speaker phone and #3 gets laggy with loaded memory card. that alone proves you never used it, hd2 is so fast with that snapdragon it puts n900 to shame. keep telling yourself that n900 is better
