i have been using nokia n900 from last two month.i am quite happy with my mobile. if u compare nokia nseries like n-95,96 & 97 with n900 there are 35 to 36 features are missing but i am quite sure nokia will fill that gap.thanks.

The E72 and N900 DON'T share the same processor!!!!! If you only read 600 Mhz and than state oh it's the same, then probably in you're world a pentium 2 600mhz processor is the same as an Pentium 4 600 mhz processor. Use the comparrison pages on this very forum to see for yourself.

(600mhz) men!!! good thing i did not rush to get this phone, i thought that this is the first nokia phone with this high performance processor. I used an e72 before, and.....i didn't get much hang of it. so n900 has a processor same as the e72 with the mind blasting, ARM cortex, mozilla browser, toch UI and MAEMO software!!!

I'd rather have a powerful phone in my pocket than a longer lasting one.
Plus there are external batteries available.

I would rather get this phone than nexus one(just imo) since i surf web alot and i watch alot of movie, this phone support not only mp4 but wmv, ect.. and Adobe Flash player 9.4 can pretty much play anything on the web, currently have Nokia Xpress Music 5800 and it can only play mp4 which suck

However on the battery life issue the E72 is superior.

For those considering getting this phone or the E72, get the E72. I considered both. They both have the same processor speed (600MHZ) but what put me off the N900 was the battery. Nokia are reknown for battery beasts. The N900 has to charged daily in most cases twice daily. This was the same as the Nokia N96. My E72 is charged once every four days. YES FOUR DAYS. It has the same battery as the E71. The N900 battery is decent but the handset is to powerful for it. It is like using a tank battery for a plane. The plane will only fly for a short time rather than for hours on end and will need constant refueling. If they release the next version of this phone later in the year with a great battery, I will consider it. Get the E72. You will not regret it.

Being a cellular user who never used mms..I dnt care care abt its presence or absence either.
What matters most to Me is the portrait mode..I would love to see the N900 switchin from portrait to landscape mode in certain apps like the browser, main menu etc
But its not at all a hinder to Me using the N900 in landscape either :D as one of My previous phone was the CLASSIC NOKIA N-GAGE..so Im used to holding it dat way :D !!
                                N900 ROCKS!!!
