Breaking News, Qualcomm dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon Processor Launching 2010
When looking at a smartphone one major thing to look at is the processor , that’s why Qualcomm is releasing the dual-core Snapdragon, the 8X72, this cheap features two 1.5GHz Scorpion cores and will be capable of 1080p high definition video playback and also, I’m hoping that all of our problems will be solved by this chip. LOL

They see what the competitors are doing yet they are not able to build on their strength to produce a product that does not have so many bugs. Unfortunately I have both these phones and that is why I am disappointed with Nokia.

no... moreN900 has lots of issues.
a) Its power management is poor under 6 hours only without intensive use
b) It is not so responsive with respect to touch scrolling within apps.
c) The email program needs to be better. Takes a long time to download emails then refresh so that you can see them. There is no option for headings only.
d) When you receive an invitation on email for a meeting in the ical format it does not recognize to add to calendar.
e) No voice dialing
f) the keyboard first row of keys are close to the screen so MAY find difficult to type if you have longer finger nails
g) they have left out "Canada English" in the regional setting but have included "Canada French"
Basically the N900 is a work in progress that needs fixing and updating. There are not enough apps yet.

effie, 08 Jan 2010Guys, I'm thinking of buying tomorrow, and I need some advi... moreGo to youtube and search N900 stress tests and check them out. now as far as the landscape mode most the phone is only in landscape but some third party apps support portrait mode. you can set the phone to open up the call menu when you rotate it for portait mode use. hope this helps alittle lol I drop my N900 once on cement and id doesnt even have a scratch but i may have gotten lucky.

Guys, I'm thinking of buying tomorrow, and I need some advice. First of all this or the E72? Does anyone know how easy it is for the screen to break if you drop it? I've been having a Toshiba and it fell down numerous times but it's still OK. And what is this everyone's saying about the landscape mode?? Do you have to open the keyboard in order to say receive a call or make a call? I'm confused

An... moremy n900 isnt as loud as my n73
and at the moment it doesnt really support portrait mode only for the phone app and a stopwatch app..
but a firmware update will come and change all of that

For all who are confused whether to buy this Unique phone, GO ahead and Buy it, cos by February and March, a new up-date will come to this great Phone which will solve maaaaaaannnnnnnnnyyyyyy problems...:)
