I've been using N900 for more than a year which is a best mini computer for people who want to have a gadget that include almost every function that a mobile computer can have.Its wonderful and quite enough to handle official work, entertainment, geo-location tracking(through maps and GPS), and many more.

Too bad nokia had to kill meego and maemo and the n900, I had this smartphone, sorry this computer which has the ability to make cellular phone calls, for 2 years and it never failed to amaze me in any aspect, too bad people complain that it's bad because they don't love having a powerful computer in their pockets because it is hard to use. I don't hate anyone for hating the N900, but for actually calling it useless, seriously Maemo5 is still better than Android because Android runs it's applications in DVM, don't ask me why should it, but the main question why did nokia left this amazing layout for the failing lumina?

Adding to it, N95 OS was beast in its time.
But comparing MaemoOS with Symbian is too unjustified and doing so, will only point out the person's lack of know-how.

In addition we r talking a 800x480 vs 320x240. Theres no way an N95 can reach N900 to the knees, its way too old and slow and lowres and limited. Its quite typical actually, lots of ppl dont know anything about N900, and therefore assume N900 cannot do everything you seen on other phones, while in fact it is the only fone ever that could do virtually everything. Truly a masterpiece.

You can press camera button and that should freeze the camera input. But it does not save. A trick to save what you see in your screen is to press simultaneously the following buttons: Ctrl, Shift, P. For video recording I don't know... I tried something with mplayer, but it didn't work.

In your case,n900 is better than n95.
I've used both fones,now im using E90 which is far BETTER than both n95,n900
I would say n95 is better in terms of multimedia,software abundance,software installation,uninstallation time,support(n95 support coreplayer which enable ALL media formats playback on n95,including .MKV,.FLV n even dvd-standard .VOB!)
Antivirus,i dont think n900 has 3rd party software for that,n n95 hav lots of choices,kaspersky,f-secure,drweb,etc
N900 only excels at camera quality,but n95 has many settings 4 its cam,making with correct setting,n95 can b better than n900.
N n900 has fast web browsing,but...as i used both be4,n95 is more fun to use than n900.
Think bout software,games abundance of n95 than n900 that has limited software,even 'ostracized' by software devs,

I tried this: http://www.ibiblio.org/e-notes/webgl/deflate/shark_anim.html with the default browser and it didn't play, I used fennec and it played (with a warning for the script). I really love this small pc :).
