My N900 battery life is not good.it easy 2 die even stand by.it is very bad power 4 internet tablet phone but i heard that its battery is not bad 4 all poeple who own it.some have good battery some have not good battery like mine so it make me feel this phone maybe have a fake on the market.everyone think so??

The specs of this phone is just right. Being the first mobile computer with true computer capabilites of Nokia. Nokia always bases its price tag on the capability of the mass. Their highest price tag for such this phone is enough. Body in plastic (large part),and some features held into 'still' condition..so that many people can afford it. That will mean high demand.besides,this was the first,so they plan it to be at an still 'can afford' price tag. For it is always an experiment on the first like 5800,after a while they released much better phones such as the n97 and XSeries. If the camera will be 8MP,divx out of the box, batt life of nokia e55,metalic finnish, capacitive touchscreen and amoled display,do you think you can still buy it?and have you think of how many people can afford it?considering this truth to be honest ''COMPUTER WITH PHONE CAPABILITIES''?Maybe they will release what those kings and queens demands when a number of such this maemo devices were released on 2010. Say the s60 phones after releasing some touch enabled s60,they released the x6,capacitive and kinetic on the go although a lot of work s still needed. Bear in mind that ever since the start this c0mpany is "connecting people"..and so features,business,and being the mass always being on top of its c0ncern. .not only a number of consumer,but the mass is their target,main c0ncern..without dropping the business and the features.and so the word "still" for the features are always expected.

Hi every one reading to much about the battery life of this beauty n900 it almost three weak now i am using it with wifi and blue tooth always on looking for stuff on web the battery life is cool i don't have any complain for those who are complaining may be u did not follow the instruction about the battery always when you first buy the phone charge it full and then drain it full i mean us the battery till it empty and then charge it again do this cycle couple of time like i do with all my new phones i hope u guys will have more long listing battery life if u do the way i explain hope it will help u guys

i have n900 and the battery sucks big time, there is no connection to wifi, bluetooth, nothing running in the background, just play a little online , some music, pics, and very little calls and i get about 5 hours if im lucky. 2 times a day charging is a must, with heavy use 3 times. the battery is just to small for this power hungry beast. e71 is way less cpu wise and it has a 1500 mah, this phone needs that at the least, if not a 2000 mah battery to get all day use with normal use

I`ve bought the n900 o week ago, and all i can say is a great phone with lots of aplications and with the new improved maemo os this baby is fast. The ovi store for maemo is not available yet though, hope is comming soon.

if it have battery problem like u said,u sould try this way maybe it can help: turn off wifi bluetooth web gps and other connection when no need,set light to middle..........
if it still not work i think your phone have battery problem so u should take it to ur local care center

Are u sure ur using the N900?? I don't think so otherwise u will be complaining for sure!!
we said the phone is awesome but the battery not lasting for even days time and i don't use it for phone calls!!! maybe there is an application that should stay off and that would save power I don't know but its not lasting for day time!!!

N900 is really the best mobile phone from Nokia that I have used. Specially, It is built in the new Operation system.
