Nick Norton, 01 Dec 2009Yup and it's 100 times technically more advanced. I'd like... moreDude the problem with US models are they are made in China. EU models are made in Finland. So which one do you rather buy? China or finland?
I used to own the N97 here in USA which is made in China. Spend over $600 for this piece of junk. It crashed constantly and was send in to Nokia for repairs twice, still crashed after 1 weeks of use. Trust me what I say here, "Don't buy any Nokia that is produced in China." My Finland made Nokia N95 puuurrrsss perfectly after some 2 years of use. Too bad the housing on my N95 is a bit worn out. I will be replacing the N97 with the N900. There is an upside for me which is that I can go back to T mobile here in USA which operates on the N900 3G freq. N97 only operates on the ATT 3G which is horrible with signal coverage. If only Nokia could make upgraded N95 with T Mobile 3G which is 1700/2100 MHZ. The N95 seems to be one the Nokias best bullet proof model yet.

I-love, 01 Dec 2009This N900 is heavy as my 10 years old 3210Yup and it's 100 times technically more advanced.
I'd like one for sure but the price here in the UK of £499 is ridiculous considering its $499 in the US.
          Where's the justice!!

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2009tried to order this n900 yesterday and today, after i put i... moreFirst of all you can't blame Nokia for this situation. Exactly how many times did you try to post the order? The fact is this is how all credit card servers work, and Nokia or any other merchant can't do anything about it. It's a security measure done by the credit card company and I know because I use to work at a bank. You should be glad it's only 3 days because where I live it'll take 10 days. So in the future if you try to make a purchase from any merchant and it has been declined twice, please refrain from trying it again.

tried to order this n900 yesterday and today, after i put in all my credit card information, clicked at the place order bottom, it turned out to be authorization failed, i thought it might just be the internet connection problem, then i tried, and tried today again, it happened the samething, ok, i thought it just didn't go throught, but when i tried to use my bank card and credit card today, declined, then i called my credit card company, and bank, they told me those purchse transisation went throught, and those amounts are being held, i called nokia then, they told me those orders didn't go throught, but because i have used my cards on their web site, and those amount won't go back to my account in 3 days later. that means they are not accepting my order but holding my money, and now since i have used my credit card and bank card, and the money is being held for 3 days, i don't know i'm going to do for the next 3 days, no money for gas, food, and i live by myslef, nokia customer service, they are rude, no comparision. even you ask to speak to their superviser, they don't even want you to, they don't even get you the superviser on the line for you, never. i'm really out of idea for the next 3 day's life, does anyone know if there's a law sue for this? i love this phone, and been saving hardly for money for this phone, now i'm just so disappointed, and upset, if nokia not going to send me the phone, what do they holding my money for? sorry, my english is not good, hope someone can understand me, or someone who have experrienced the same situation, and come out here to share with people. nokia, i'm done with you.

Nokia N900's tagline should be: It's not a phone. It's a mobile computer. ;D can't wait to get this.

This phone will not be released in INDIA as it has not been anounced and also I spoke to Nokia Priority Dealer and he told the phone will not be released as NOKIA hasn't given them any word regarding the release of the phone.
