Valentina, 28 Nov 2009Does it support video callin n mms. I heard abt video calli... moreSkype should be available soon on Maemo Select site but not too sure if it would work. Only just got the phone, still playing aound with it. It doesn't have MMS but I heard that the OS update will enable it, but i doubt it anyway. Other than that the N900 is a brilliant phone. Some things are a bit slow and you need to have patients with it. It is still early software. The update will come soon. The N900 is more of a computer than anything else. You will understand much more clearly when you have it in your hands.

I want to ask some questions: N900 better than Nokia E72? Is it also better than IPhone 3GS?
If someone read the review of this phone, what do they mean by the 3rd party application is limited and the UI touch?

Got mine today 28 November 09 from the Nokia Store in Regent Street London. I had pre ordered the phone over a month ago and FINALLY I have it. Feel sorry for those iPhone users. The official release date for the Nokia N900 for the public is 4 December 09.

If your in London go there now and collect your phone, the list of pre orders I saw is massive.

                      Nuff Said!

                        Hi all,

I am very close to purchasing my new phone. I will either go for this beauty or the Nokia E72. What will influence my decision is the battery. Previously I've had the Nokia N95 8 GIG & no have a Nokia 5800. They and inparticular the E72 have tremendous batteries.

What is the battery on this one like? Be completely honest with me.

How often do you charge it? Even with a heavy use?

Where can I get games for it?

What is the situation about the FM radio?

Is one installed on the phone or not?

                        Thanks, David

I already had this phone, honestly it is very good, and for people talking about sound and all this stuff all what i can say is that this phone is a bussiness phone not only for entertainment.

its is has thin as they could have make it with all the features it has

"Nokia doesn't really care what you and I think at this point.

I'll explain: it's the only company to offer a decent product with this level of open-ness (Openmoko's hardware AND software is relatively rubbish, Android is not anywhere close to being as open as Maemo, etc.). And they know that people who really want it will wait for it. Heck! They could have sold it for 10,000 SEK and I would still be after one.

People getting all excited about the maleable deadline release are not that many.

Yes. What Nokia did is shameful and downright insulting. But as long as there's no alternative, I'll wait. In fact, I'm quite pleased they're having trouble meeting the overwhelming demand. It shows to all manufacturers that we're sick of locked down, non-evolutive phones. They now have proof that open-source is not just about hype. There's a real market to be tapped.

Here's hoping we all get one before year's end. "
