why does everyone statre different release dates.
i was rung by some one trying to sell me a contract (UK) and i was told that the n900 is going to be released in the back end of november and people on here are talking about december 3rd and even 20th!!

Thankfully here in Brazil the companies pretty much have both frequencies almost everywhere (850 and 2100), and my phone co. operates in 2100 everywhere.
As for the preview, the N900 looks really promising.

BTW If it's shipping in all these places why haven't we seen any users turn up here yet?

The phone is available. It is already shipping in Italy, France, Poland, Norway and USA. The pre-orders are being shipped as we speak. Also, for example, nokia.it has it for sale already: Availability: YES.
Don't post comments about things you don't know for sure.

I'm not going to bother checking the other countries that you mentioned since they are most likely the same but perhaps you'd like to confirm that the device is actually shipping from the Nokia sites in those countries.

Excellent answer Mobifool, congraculations. Unfortunately most of the people do not understand the importance of optic quality. i prefer 5 mp carlz zeiss rather than a 8-10 mp normal otofocus noname optic on a cellular. i'm using n95 for more than 2 years and i believe it will be more efficient with 2 LED flash as in n900...
