m using n900 about 10month want to hard restart .. I make a problem in kernel files.. So its corrupted .. Now how can

Undoubtably the best nokia ever made and one the best all round phones around, even now still. Nokia should really look to the N900 for inspiration and ideas on improving their new devices. Windows mobile OS on the new smartphones is not the way to go for nokia, I believe.

Ive Bn Uzing n900 for 18 month; replaced it to a samsung galaxy s2; after 1 month, 2 days ago i bought another n900 and throw away G S 2!

This might be a silly question but i was wondering i... moreI dont think you can replace the Resistive with Capacitive TS.
there are PRO and CON, you can use your nail to touch the resistive TS, it will response if you wear the glove and more accurate. some times I have problem mistouch with my N8(capacitive TS) since too sensitive.

This might be a silly question but i was wondering is there any technology which has come up to convert the resistive touchscreen handsets to capacitive touchscreen handsets by changing the screen or the board???? This question arised in my mind as nokia n900 is the best smartphone from nokia with maemo being the fresh os eventhough its 2yrs old...resistive screen (corrected out of previous post) is the only drawback of this which is a must for a geek. Rest every other small small drawbacks here n there is of not so big concern at all...I hope somebody will clear my this silly doubt.

Anonymous, 18 Dec 2011Remember nothing is dead YET...With the N9 in big demand an... morei dont care if they stop meego/N9, the N9 has almost nothing of what i loved about N900. Nokias new track with meego isnt continuing where N900 left off, N9 is much more like a p.e.n.i.s enlargement of Symbian.
N900 was totally complete, N9 comes 2 years later and cannot match a unit thats supposed to be outdated. Im not impressed.

racer, 15 Dec 2011i had this phone since last two years and it worked perfect... moreRemember nothing is dead YET...With the N9 in big demand and big community for N900 we can pressure Nokia to keep meego/maemo going..We need a petition and if Nokia ar not interested then is another firm interested..Maybe a chinese tech company could carry it on bringing out devices...This Linux computing power in your hand is huge and should be documented..We need action from someone in the know to get more of these type of Smartfones on the market..
Never mind closed w7 or apple crap or Android with its force close attitude closed platforms,Linux is the way forward in Meemo/maemo..

i want 2 knw if hard disk of n900 32gb is corrupted and u cant flaash internal card , den wats da procedure , it may happen ur 32gb corrupted or distroyed den all applications r stuck even memory external card cant support , it shows low memory , camera and other applications nt working, pls reply..... can we get any 32gb hard disk>
