johnl, 19 Oct 2009man i dont understand what nokia is doing the n97 was supp... moreThe only mistake you made is choosing a brand.
Nokia is making redundant phones. They make many top nokia phones but all second grade compared to the best. they dont have that killer phone that a user can feel relaxed the whole year after buying one!lol They just make phones without segregating its use from the other. Man! they have the most full qwerty phones all in the same year!!!lol!!!

Your condition is only fed by your constant desire to have the very latest in mobile phone hardware. Once you realize that no matter which brand you chose the one you buy will be obsolete within a few weeks of your ownership, you will be cured.
      Good luck.

man i dont understand what nokia is doing
the n97 was supposed to be the beast, a couple of months after they announce the n900 now my 700$ n97 is useless! and now although this phone is not available yet they announced the new one the N920!! wtf is happening?!?!
and besides no portrait mode in the n900 so i guess the n920 would have the portrait mode?? so if i understand nokia i have to pay 2100$ for their mistakes before i get the perfect phone?!?!
forget about it, it will probably have software issues just like the 5800 xpress and the n97 and everything new nokia releases ask me about it i get all their new phones but not anymore...

                    Talk time - 660 mins
                    Standby time - 360 hrs

in another review I also saw that with extremely heavy use (always online, media player, several browsers opened) it lasts from 6 to 10 hours

I think that considering its connectivity and multitasking capabilities... it is above average

Being carved from a single piece of aluminium pays dividends. It makes the nokia incredibly light, amazingly thin, extremely durable, and eminently portable.

Farhan, 18 Oct 2009all i want is Java...do u think they will include that i t... moreAt this point java MIDP is almost useless, except opera mini 5. Winmo's, symbians and the whol bunch out there that uses webkit browsers could end up relying entirely on it and I have to admit it's awesome!

But regarding java libraries, it's hard to say, I only use one program that speciicaly requires them and that's REFT (ridiculously easy file transfer)...

Maybe they'll come but either way java works in many programs without needing vm or libraries instlled.
And no it doesn't seem a priority.
