How do you compare a phone on contract to a phone with no contract? :S
The Nokia N900's $650 price tag is without contract; it's roughly the same price as an iPhone or other phone's of it's category.

N900 has a great design and I think the new linux based OS (Maemo 5) will be a hit. I understand the RAM can be expandible to 1GB, thats cool. Nokia should Improve processor to more than 1ghz. This phone is like a tablet PC.

Well first of all that's not X3 specs, it's the cpu specs.
Second here's a phone with that cpu:

The only thing special about it is the lame battery life.
So there's another winmo in the bunch. LOL.

Unfortunately already a tie since it has dedicated SGX chip hardware acceleration, so If you were to count polys and triangles it's roughly the same, only thing is that 3D is harder to be run without a dedicated chip.
So, be a fanboy, wait for your foxconn x3 but keep in mind that the reason why it has 1ghz do do the same things as N900 is either the clocks are overrated (as in 1 amd clock does not equal an intel clock) or the OS is badly optimised and the cpu is really bery strong, so you'll get half of N900 battery time.
Either way by the time x3 comes out we'll be playin' with the next N9XX :)
BTW, have you actually ever wondered why sony's UIQ branch went broke and now they employ other companies to build their phones?
Maybe because sony is too stupid to build smartphones :))

Amaaaaaaaaaazing phone...I just love it...At last nokia has come out of its symbian thing....Wish could come sooner.....Best thing is the change in OS....Thanks to nokia....

I really think that if nokia wants to keep up with the iPhone, they should have an app store and have a lot of different program to be put into it. That is why apple iPhone is extremely popular in the market. Also be able to put yahoo mail into it by just the touch of a button like in iPhone. That's just my two cents
