I really think that if nokia wants to keep up with the iPhone, they should have an app store and have a lot of different program to be put into it. That is why apple iPhone is extremely popular in the market. Also be able to put yahoo mail into it by just the touch of a button like in iPhone. That's just my two cents

Vladimir, 08 Sep 2009Also, Maemo is better than Android. It has far more capabil... moremaemo isn`t a new technology, its been around for years..and when you mention open source do you know what you really mean? androids are much more open source than maemo that you are proud of..how many applications do you see for maemo comparing to android? be sure to know what you are talking about before you say anything hahaha!

Will this N900 have a built in compass and a FM tuner? Is Nokia moving forward or backward? Let them continue their trend. I am pretty sure they'll be extinct soon, unless scientists figure out a way to make old people live forever... because only old people are buying Nokia phones

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970dude even if the specifications u just mentioned are true doesnt mean tht this x3 can be compared to n900
n900 gonna release in 1 month and x3 noooooooooooooooo idea
even x2 is not released yet
so u can imagine when will x3 release and till then
what new technology will nokia, samsung and apple have
if x3 with these specification was released now with n900,
we all could imagine what a grt competition could take place
same like when N SERIES AND WALKMAN SERIES WERE released and such a grt competition took place in those days

When you mention the SE Xperia X3, why do you mention all those specs? The revolutionary thing about the N900 is its new Os. You don't need high-end hardware like the Snapdragon processor to run it smoothly.

                              http://www.samsungomniahd.com

Truth is it's based on webkit, same as mobile opera browsers and webkit really fails to deliver in multi-tab, and epecially flash rich contnent wich it can only handle um to version 3.

I'd still consider i8910 but truth is the screen is smaller (althoughr better) and a webkit browser will NEVER come close to firefox/mozilla.

What to choose? I really like the N900 because of it's super internet browser based on Mozilla technology w/ full Adobe Flash 9.4, it's big full QWERTY keyboard and it's OS, but again, I like the I8910 HD too, because of it's HD recording, 3.7" capacitive AMOLED screen and it's 8 MPx camera. I think that the N900 is more of a business phone, am I wrong? Well, I don't want a business phone. I also think that it's kinda big and heavy. But I REALLY like it's browser and fluid, not-lagging OS. I didn't really find any more information regarding the I8910 HD's web browser. Does it lag, is it slow, does it render pages correctly, does it display flash like on a PC? So, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
