anyways UK folk rejoice the dude went for pre order today on the Nokia website for 499 big ones...alternatively vodafone are very hopefully to getting this on contract in october along with SE Satio.
Word is it should be free on 18 month contracts from as low as 35 a month.

Hawke, 03 Sep 2009I would carry N900 rather then Netbook because it's smaller... morethank you for your point but just bare in mind that i didnt compare it to the iphone as i hate them and dont see anything good about them apart from fluidness and apps store. :-)

This phone beat iPhone 3Gs miles ahead. You just can't compare both phone. Though the spec seems the same, this phone doesn't need jailbreaking for multitasking for what done on iPhone. It's open source, therefore no restriction. You control it. iPhone fail this part really badly.
About the OS, i notice people are comparing Android with MAEMO. Here, MAEMO is the Linux, wherelese Android is Linux-based. MAEMO have more advantage compare with Android. You need to do more research with this both.

The n900 should be enough if you want to browse on the move. I mean it can render many web pages exactly like desktops and by the looks of things its quite fast although we are yet to see a full review. It can also slip in your pocket easily.
However the n900 and the netbook will be around the same price so the question is, do you want to carry a net book or a device that is inbetween a phone and an internet tablet.

because i want a internet device
i have a hp laptop and using samsung ultra s8300

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2009wow nokia finally coming out with new phone and still only ... moreif u truly care about picture quality u shud buy urself a camera and not a phone. a 4 yr old canon 8mpx cam took better pictures than the samsung pixon 12mpx cam phone. and y wud u wna watch hd movies on ur phone? is the quality difference even noticeable vs other amoled phones with similar resolution? the screen is so small for an hd movie, the whole idea seems pointless. i can understand the projector phone from samsung but if u wna rly enjoy ur films u shud watch them on hd tvs.

On Nokia website, it didn't list HSDPA network, it listed the 900/1700/2100 as WCDMA. It does however listed HSPA. I'm confused

no QB 3G network ? this is supposely higher end phone than N97 which has quad band 3G.come on Nokia, make all phone universal 3G please.
