I have problem with my N900, the light on the keyboard just stop working.. i don't know why,, is there someone experiencing the same way? its very hard to type especially on dark places. Need help. thanks.

this december it will be 2 yers since i have been using this phone & within this period i have never thought to buy another phone.. because this phone is way to awsome.. though nokia has stopped releasing update for n900 am eagarly waiting when there will be a update!! there is no mms or radio but you can listain radio via third party app though you have to turn on blutooth all the time to listen to radio.. seriously after n900 i didn't saw any other model from nokia as promising as n900.. for me n950 is is backdating where it is supposed to be update version of n900!! only the camera & os is updated!! still no mms & radia for n950!! & most shockingly no memory slot!! & it doesn't matter if it doesn't have infrared when we have bluetooth.. n900 only got limited app.. but it has way to awsm app & emulators.. if i have to but a new phone the definitely am not gonna buy any nokia phones... even though i buy a new phone!! i'll still gonna keep n900 xD

Got this phone for about 2 weeks now.It's wonderfull.The only thing i dont like is that the battery has a low range and it does not have mms.
But overall its amazing.
And yes,it does have flashlight!

Did you experience the CSS Update a little buggy?
Mine got slower than before and there are few bugs in transition etc which creates a little difficulty. Though mine is running @900 MHz.
Cant uninstall CSSU, will have to flash it, any options ? :)

Not supporting flash directly from the start isn't really a problem.
Otherwise for movies I just used last CuteTube application and it works just as good, thought somebugs sometimes but nothing really that bugs me more.

Excellent phone. Have problems with the battery. It drains very fast. With full 100% charge before going to bed, the same stands discharged to 35% in the early mornings. Is there any application like Battery booster etc to solve the problem. At present with normal usage I have to charge it twice /thrice on daily basis. Would appreciate any advise/help

RITESH KANANI, 26 Sep 2011give me the reason to buy n900?Due to its age, N900 is not able to record HD video. Its screen is capacitive and the keyboard is slower then, say, a Nokia E7 or HTC 7 Pro. You don't have access to 300,000 + apps either, but who needs them?
All in all, still a great phone. A classic that will soon be very hard to find...
