Hi
I recently heard along some grapevines... That the N900 supports DVB-H Headsets.
Is this true?
Can I view mobile DVB-H channels on this device? Is it software app I need to download? Or the DVB-H headset plug-and-play?

hi,guys....i already bought this great device...it has lots of great programs and more better than a laptop or other cellphone...i alwasy used its webcam but now its abt a few days that i can't recieve calling in gmail...i dont know how to make video calling by myself with this device....i checked its site and they just use webcam by clicking on option key but when i use it ,i can make voice calling...i already wanted to download its mirror but it was impossible,it needed some more programs.... i really dont know how 2 open my webcam by nokia n900...
pls,if any1 knows abt its cam,guide me....

Just install the protocols for Conversations and you have all these services integrated right into your Conversations built-in application.
That's the deal with the N900: you don't need to install hundreds of apps to get anything done.
I have one and I love it and I love using it everyday. There's so much you can do with the N900 that you can't do with even the newest droids or iphone.
It's just not a phone for everyone (especially the less technically inclined) and the Nokia did a poor job advertising it (in Portugal, where I live, they did plenty of advertising of the crappy N97 but nothing for the N900... Sad, really)

Regarding Whatsapp and Loudtalk: There's already built-in support for IM, chat and VoIP on the N900.

hi frnds am in big trouble my many of softwares are not working. when i try to update via mobile, it shows
"unable to update maemo 5 conflicting application packages"
and when i try to update it with nokia pc suite my nokia software updater shows
"unfortunately your device is not fully supported by nokia pc suite"
pls frnds help me i want your help.

Hi everyone, does anyone know if the N900 is getting a full meego update anytime soon? As fas as i knew it is supposed to be scheduled for the beginning of july (or the last days of june).
And a couple more, do you guys know about any application similar to whatsapp or loudtalks that's available for the n900.

I have mine running, stably, at 950Mhz and she's plenty fast! :)
In terms of apps, there's 2,000+ available for it now on a couple of different sites:

A lot of them are technical/systems oriented; after all, the N900 is for the technically inclined person really. However, there are plenty that will appeal to the general consumer.

Otoh, N900 dont need apps coz it can do everything from the browser, INCLUDING JAVA (easydebian/iceweasel), which make it one of a kind.
N900 have some weaknesses but not so much compared to N97 that this guy recommends. N97 totally sux, ders NOTHING good abt N97, nothing at all. N900 is by far the best in many ways but sadly its slow compared to current Android phones. Android is not a good OS, the lack of user control is scary, but all in all i have to agree that N900 isnt a great buy now. Maybe the N950 will be ok, just wait for it, or buy a used N900 for now, they are really cheap at the moment.
