neri, 09 Jun 2011you say bad words for this phone,because you dont know tu u... moreBut he have some good arguments. Like battery, it does suck a bit, and its not great for the apps-lovers. Otoh, N900 dont need apps coz it can do everything from the browser, INCLUDING JAVA (easydebian/iceweasel), which make it one of a kind.
N900 have some weaknesses but not so much compared to N97 that this guy recommends. N97 totally sux, ders NOTHING good abt N97, nothing at all. N900 is by far the best in many ways but sadly its slow compared to current Android phones. Android is not a good OS, the lack of user control is scary, but all in all i have to agree that N900 isnt a great buy now. Maybe the N950 will be ok, just wait for it, or buy a used N900 for now, they are really cheap at the moment.

If you want funny faces on your screen, buy funny Android, so you can watch wippers on the weather widget... i repeat: N900 it's not a toy for fun boys.

Hiii guys,i does not recommend to purchase this phone.i read some reviews from net &i buy that phone.but i am absolutely sucks.its os was hard to use.less battery back up.if we continuously use its battery power only for last 2 hrs.it cant be installd java and nimbuzz like social service applications.realy a mad phone.if you want a touch and slide qwerty phone.bye a n97 mini RM-555 type.that is more easy to use and get more battery back up.how is new E7 please anybody can help me?

Somebody is porting Hildon, Maemo's UI, to MeeGo now. The project is called Cordia:

Nokia should have never combined maemo with moblin but rather they should have continued to develop Maemo further and they would have achieved better success. I still believe Maemo UI is far superior than Meego and had lot of potential. Anyways, game plan is all changed now.

AnonD-1304, 07 Jun 2011Finally I installed Meego 1.2 in my N900. It is very slow. ... moreAlso, MeeGo isn't a purely Nokia solution; it's a combination of Maemo, which is Nokia's, and Moblin, which was a mobile Linux distro that Intel was working on. Therefore, Maemo + Moblin = MeeGo.
I do think MeeGo has a bright future, judging from some of the OEM demo devices that were presented at the most recent MeeGo conference. And, there are going a be a few devices released with it this year. Please see the below:

Finally I installed Meego 1.2 in my N900. It is very slow. UI is not impressive. It's really unfortunate that Nokia killed a beautiful OS 'Maemo' to bring Meego only later to ditch for Windows! I just hope final Meego release is much better, but I doubt it can bring back the sparkle of a Maemo user!
