hey im really thinking of getting a new phone. i have always loved sony ericsson but im fascinated by the new nokia music phones. im thinking what to buy among n91, n71 or n90..
i like n91 because of its 4gb memory. im a music lover so a large memory would be perfect. but it's relatively expensive. also, im afraid of getting the n91 without wi-fi. how do you determine whether its the n91-1 or n91-5?
i also like n90 but it's not really a music phone. sure, you can put music files but there's no fm radio..
with regard to n71, it's also nice. it's features are a combination of those of n91 and n90 because it's a music phone and it's a flip phone but its memory is not as big as n91.
i haven't really tested each of the 3 phones so i'm really confused on what to get, can anybody give me an idea on which among the three is the best?

omg:( it has way too many drawbacks for it's price.. it freezes too often especially when u install aplications .. bad aplications.. and there aren't too many aplications u can install.. the only thing he can do is playing audio-video.. it's the best i've seen.. but otherwise... don't buy this junk .. it's BIG.. it's heavvy .. and the thing that stressed me most was the goddamn back cover wich protects the battery.. u gotta be a skilled craftman to open and close that back cover..i feel like cryin cuz i bought this phone :(((

lol i was soo gonna buy this phone- its nokia's biggest mistake- very bad design asthetics.

If you cant update your sofware for watever reason like me(cause of branded cell).
and you want new skins but cant because it gives you errors. Just go Menu-tools-app mgr-options-settings and select sofware installation and select all.
There now you can install wat ever junk you want.

I told ya in that post that you fooed yourself.how?
Go to Nokia Nseries site choose N91, see the specifications[pop up in another window]
in the wifi caegory it stated,
*N91-5 does not support wlan or 3g.
But lol, I also did the same mistake like you, but in our country there is no hotspot for wifi nor 3G.
So I dont care bout it.
Cheer up!man.

I was not suspectng. I hav no idea. I bought N91 becos i thought its d same n91 i see in pictures in websyts that has 3g & wlan. How would i know that its a different n91 wen it looks d same n91?! They didnt change d name 2 another label. & its clearly stated in many websyts wer i read from dat it has 3g & wlan. & who in d world wil buy n91 dat has no 3g & wlan if dey know theres n91 dat has 3g & wlan?! Whatever! I feel so bad now! But theres nuthing that i can do about it!

I had just posted a messege regarding the low memory; by the way I have the 1.00 version.
Should I upgrade to 2.10? What are some of the differences I'm going to see? Any advantages / any dis-advantages?
Like I said, so far I had no problems with the 1.00 version.

Everything is great with my N91, but lately I have been having some problems with the memmory.
Whenever I try to do something, it says that the memmory is too low and to delete some files.
Well, after backing up all my pictures and videos, I deleted all my files (now the hard drive is just about empty) and it still says low memmory.
What memory is it talking about?
And its not the contact either.
Please help.

To upgrade firmware go to nokia.com and support can you can download for free the firmeware or from your nokia pc suite which also you can download from nokia.com

to felicit, Nokia N91-1 supports 3G and Wlan.
Nokia N91-5 supports no 3g and wlan.
Nokia N91 8 GIG has both of the functions.
You have bought n91-5.
You should have bought carefully n91 .
and its your fault!

I was chusing wether 2 buy n91 or n73. N91 has 4gb hard drive, 3.5mm jack. N73 has carl zeiss optics, big screen, 2 cameras quickoffice. n91 according 2 d websyt has both 3g & wlan, n73 has 3g but no wlan. So i bought n91 becuz of wlan. But i found out dat n91 has neither 3g nor wlan. I shud ve bought n73 instead of n91. even if n73 has no wlan, at least it has 3g. Im so mad! Damn! I wanna cry! Nokia has fooled me agen!

great phone but i cant open smartmovies and divx player on my phone,i guess i need to uprade,is it something i can do on my own,someone pls help me and tell me how.

I have used this converter and the videos work very nice on my N91.
Converter name: Allok MPEG4 Converter.
My favorite settings (you can change):
output format: 3GP(MPEG4+AAC)
video quality: 160kbps
video codec : mpeg4
resolution : 208*176
framerate : 15fps
audio quality: 64kbps
channels : 2 stereo
sample rate : 44100 Hz
the above settings have been tested on my N91 and worked with very high quality and good size about: 6MB for 4minutes clip.
there are also many other formats such as avi, mp4, 3g2.
note : (.avi) with divx codec worked on N91 using divx player.
and converts nearly all video files, as long as i have seen until now.

can i change my n91`s front cover? i scratched the display and is annoying watching anything in this way; and if is possible and i change it, will i lose my warranty?
