I just purchased my Nokia N91, and its amazing so far. i have had no problems with the phone freezing etc. i would still like to upgrade the software to the latest version available.
could someone explain to me how to do it and where to get the software as im not too clued up on this.

I need your help, after updating the N91-1 firmware from v1.xx to 2.xx, the tutorial data is lost.
I have formated the HDD once.
So can anyone tell me if there is away to get back the tutorial data again.

yes. i strongly recommend u to go www.nokia.com and make that upgrade

seems that n91 hangs the best, my Sw ver is 1.10.030, will an upgrade to the newest ver solve my problem ? (hangs twice a day at least)

because that's what was made for... amazing sound through headsets!!! and yes.it is no.1 in the world at the moment! and as far as i;m concerned nokia seems to release new sw version wich fortunately increease the audio quality better and better! good job nokia. i had 1.10 upgraded to 2.00 and now to 2.1. i can say the sound has doubled in quality. a simple fact : hold those little tinny earspeakers tight in your hand and max the volum up ! yes... those tinny SHAKE!!! u woun't feel that on many phones! once again nokia , good job.!

the sound through the loud speakers has the best quality ( with an amazing bass) among all phones from all brands, but its not as loud as any of the SE w series, im just wondering Y such an amazing phone should have such weak speakers (even weaker than 7610 ) but when using earphones just the reverse is true & the N91 is no 1.

I heard abot the new SW version 2.10, I m very intrested to know do you have this latest version?. If u have then i just wanna know what's the difference between sw 2.00 to 2.10?.from where i'll get it ?. sorry for the truoble brother. Thanks.

To those with questions please the the 15 User Advice tips I posted. (search for User advice in the search window below)
To Wassi: Please note that due to a symbian thingy with dismounting mass media? the themes will be set back to default if you charge while the phone is off etc. Nokia advises to set the theme you want in phone memory
To Clare: Your sw (1.3??) i suspect you mean 1.1 (since there never was 1.3). The device can pause if you ripped the songs with too high a bit rate or the songs have some corruptions in the data. I recommend updating your sw.
To Amir - Im not sure you can ? Ill try. By the way the same "rule" applies to wallpaper as themes. Save the photo in th ephone memory or you will have to re-select it after you recharge the battery with your device off or when removing the battery cover with power on.
As for the people who have issues with the "unable to read sw package". You may have to call the service centre hotline I have never experienced that.

The latest Nokia firmware can be downloaded from the Support section of Nokia's website. It is easily installed over USB, but remember to backup your phone memory first. :-)

does anyone have problems playeing there music, i have over 400 songs anf have it on shuffle mode, but after 2-3 songs it will pause after 3 seconds, and its not always the same song, as i have heard it before on shuffle, think im going to get an ipod now as this keeps doing this all the time, also i have version 1.3

Dear pappy and others,
I have been trying for half a day now on my computer, with the Nokia N91 (RM-43), to upgrade the softwrae using the NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATER.
However, I am experience exactly the same problem with the software not being able to read the software package.
Help me, thank you.

Hi
I have a friend who upgraded in lyon and it kept the french. I believe all languages, operators and country variants are on this site. The only thing is is that some countries have Nokia country managers? and they have to approve it first (eg takes a bit longer)and some operators never bother approving it. So if you bought a TIM branded one for example it may take longer.
