i got my nokia N91 as a part of the deal for the plan I am paying for my monthly mobile fee. And the first time i saw it, i was really impressed - it really looks sooooo cool.
The memory is big and I am quite happy about it until I had difficulty in sending SMS. It takes me more than a minute before I am able to send the messages.
For a person who is always after practicality and time, the handset just doesn't fit my need and requirement. A patient will die in my hand without me being able to answer because the phone hangs when I am sending a message. I can't call or even make it work.
I think Nokia should do something about this.

Larry - what do you mean by "jamming". Is it crashing or what? What happens when it jams?
See my July 29th post on helpful hints also I will be updating it soon as I give feedbak on the new 2.00SW (which is great by the way). Also if you have two in a row with a problem could be something wonky on your HDD content that you keep copying back onto the HDD.
Vishal - Same general comment. I can say I have never had a crash while an incoming call is in howevere on older sw there were some people who said they had occaisional crashes while keypad tones where on. See my July 29th helpful hints

the phone gets hanged many time.while playing music if i receive a call it gets hanged. i also have sony w810i, i m using dat phone with 2gb card and the phone is working fine.both the phone has a good music player. there not a big difference in sound quality . nokia n91 is costly . i gave this phone back to the dealer to get it repaired, let see wat happens now

Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish. I am now on my second N91. The first one kept jamming. The second one does the same. Nokia acknowledge this issue but wont do anything about it. Shame Nokia, Shame.

Got the 2.00 upgrade :) Once again a no hassle experience here in the UK. Im am playing with it now and will write a report.
PS: N91 is louder and the sound quality is better than SE (see a report I put a while back from three different magazines).

Hi,
Guys, for ur curiosity I'd like to clear out some things. The sound of N91 through the Loud speaker is not very loud. But it is extremely loud and very well balanced and clear through the Headphones. Even my w810i and w900i fails in front of N91 when it comes to sound! W810's sound low through the speakers and also not so good through the headphones.
But if u ppl are looking for a mobile which has a loud sound through the speaker, then go for 3250, W900(very loud),w550 or even N71. It's also loud through the speakers.
Once again I'd like to say dat if u guys are looking for a true mobile music experience, then go for Nokia N91!! All the rest are just peice of junk in front of it! Just for a test, I played music in my car first through N91 and W810i. Both were identical. N91 was a bit better. But there was a lot of difference between their BASS. N91's Bass was loud very much high from W810i's. Anybody can easily differenciate between them. Dats all I had to say Guys. Now it's up to u to make ur decision! Good Luck!

Hai Nadia, louder is not always better quality. I think SE has better music quality than Nokia in the same class.
From speaker the best SE is W550i/600 because it has 3 speakers, but via headset they have same quality. W900i is the highes class of walkmanphone from SE. Maybe the next W950i shall better than W900.

Hi, Nokia's N91 is a good fone. But it's not a great fone. The key lock doesn't lock ALL the keys! It'll still send messages and connect to WAP! Also, the music, menu and volume buttons don't light up so u have 2 feel around in the dark 4 them. Also, system messages only stay on not even a second so u can't c y it beeped! But b side that it's an OK fone.

Yes ,N91 has m3u playlists.
You can create them in built in music software or make them in PC and then copy it to the phone via mass storage mode USB.
They are stored in E:\playlists

N91 has better quality though earphones and 3250 has better quality through built in speaker. This information is confirmed.
I have N91 and a friend of mine has 3250.
Bass elements are rejected in 3250's speaker ,but it is very loud ,louder and better than ngage

hye evry1!can any1 tell me which one hav a better loudspeaker quality?n3250 or n91?i knoe dat n91 can put more den 2000 song n free special headphone meanwhile 3250 juz bowt 750 song n special earphone!!but dat's not da rezen n91 hav a better loudspeaker quality den 3250 ryte?cuz 3250 also born 2 b a music player!so s a music lover which 1 iz da bez 4 me in terms of loudspeaker?which 1 louder n clearer?

hi all, have read a lot about these comments about the N91, and i think all these comments about the N91 is crap is al biases!!i am ireland and i bought one, my bro bought one and his girlfriend bought one, at the same store, at the same time. the phone works perfectly OKAY for all of us. so i believe all these people complaining dont even have the N91, they are just saying what they heard from others. In fact they dont even have a phone, because once you hold the N91 in your hand, you get the feeling that this is the best phone one could evar have. you cant expect to get a phone have all that you desire, no company will ever do this, all companies are money minded. business guys, business!! but am glad i have the N91, just one thing, it doesnt have a camera in the front for video call.but everythg is perfect!

Hi everyone
well after owning my Nokia N80 for 2 days, im sending it back to 02 !
was told by 5 people at 02 that the Nokia N91 has been discontinued!
and then yesterday when i asked again, i was told NO its not!!
WHY DO THESE NETWORKS LIE?
anyway, they are sending me a N91 next Tuesday morning, and swapping over the N80 for it.. yes the N80 has a better screen, but it has frozen on me 5 times, and the music quality with the headphones is good, but not as Loud or quality like the N91..so back to this i go :-)
Pappy - please let us know how this new firmware is ASAP
if its good and stops the N91 frezzing and fixes loads of bugs, i will pop down on Wednesday and get it doen at my Nokia Service Centre...

the quality of sound in amr or awb sucks....no point compressing it and transferring it to ur phone..
