I've been using N91 for a while now with v1.0. not even one problem at all...wonder why people say phone hanging, slow menu with V1.0. There's NO problem in V1.0 . and BTW N91 rocks. i've had n80,n70,7710. This one is the BEST!!!!!

I got my nokia n91 recently. I could say that the music is awsome! BUT----- I got problems with my MESSAGES! all of them dissapeared when the HDD had a problem and I do not know why. It just stoped suddenly. I HATE NOKIA FOR THAT CAUSE I GOT A LOT OF MY CLOSE FRIENDS MESSAGES STORED. --------- but still the music is awsome!. ADRIAN BERNARDO from the Philippines.

How do you select the messages to go into Phone memory instead of the HDD ?
can someone actually tell me please?

i just got my 3rd Nokia N91 Handset, i want to make sure this one doesnt have to go back!!
they have all been faulty!
hard drives become faulty, videos dissapearing, mp3`s suddenly just pausing themselves for no reason!

That is the latest and greatest. Badre good to see Syria has finally upgraded (bigh city like Damascus with alot of S60 lovers it should not have taken that long!)
Advice on 1.10. Its great but some helpful hints to be safe
a) Still do not use HDD as your message memory
b) Do not use the vibra active in a profile that has a short beep as a ringtone
c) Leave your keypad tones off.
d) Install files properly, no drag-n-drop the inalled files and folders from PC to HDD. Just copy the SISX file and re-install on device

ive upgraded the phone again to ver 1.10 it seems ok now. hopefully it wont cause any problems in the future!!! :) thanks for the help guys!

To mangesh.
1) PR1.10 is good. I would simply NOT use the HDD as a place to store messages people have recorded some issue there.
As for the Equalizer - It depends on the music you listen to. If you like music with s atring beat then Hip-hop id good or Bass booster.

hi pappy, plz tell me how to save all messages to HDD?. i have a n91 with version 1.10, i want to know which is the latest firmware version? and is their any need to update my version? plz tell me which is the finest manual equiliser setting for n 91?. plz do reply. thanks in advanced.

1- I suggets avoiding using the HDD as your message storaeg memory and leave it in phone memory full time
2- Allie see my list of hints. Could be that you have a vibra/profile tihingy an leave the keypad tones off

hi has anyone had a problem with their messaging i saved all the messages on to the HDD and now its all gone for some reason but my music and everythin is still on there is there a way to recover those messages??

Your phone turns of to reboot itself to prevent crashing.Nokia's are known for that.

my n91 turns off and starts itself quite often. wut causes this problem? ive already flashed it once to 1.10 damn.,,. its giving me a headache

To explain this debate simply.... All phones are crap.... All phones are buggy...... Get a life geeks. Phones make phone calls, send sms, and everything else is an ABSOLUTE waste of time.

Oh and also,
My cousin is like a total prankster so I don't know what he does when i'm not home.
But your technique seems to be quite useful,i'll use it on other people to embarass them when they try to come and diss me.
I plan to tell him to leave,i'll also let you know that it was him who partially destroyed my n91.....

hello there.i was wondering if u have any ideea about streaming radio on the n91 via a wireless conection to a computer. to be more specific i would like to listen to a radio on my n91 ( a streaming radio ) and as a data bearer ( acces point ) to be my computer. and if so .. then how ?! .thanks

i went 2 the center they r going 2 keep it for 36 hrs its like 12 more hrs and i am going 2 get it,
they don't offer anything that u mentioned in your previous messages
such as the mobile that they are going to give me in the duration of the 36 hrs and the battry cover etc...

To sunny - Sounds like your device was damaged in transit of something. Im guessing The gold traces in the back of the slide are not making contact when its open. Just bring it back for a swap. I, and many others have had no issues there.
To ross- see my list of hints I updated and posted july 29th below. For some reason this slowing down of sms seems to happen to people in the phillipines the most. I do not have issues with sms slowing down over time. Im sure Nokia is looking into this.
To gagbag, reahcta - some advde, those 4 greyed out letters are pary of your IP address. So if you are trying to look like different people coming on a bashing the N91 at least use two different computers :)
