To HelpWanted: there is no sport function under shooting mode for the stills cam or video cam. GsmArena may have been using the term loosely to cover the sequence mode of the stills camera whereby a sequence of photos are taken. Another possibility is that GsmArena had a prototype version or were using the N93 Golf Edition. You should note that Nokia cover themselves because if you click on "help" while in camera mode it does say that "availabie options may vary."

Ah the folly of predictive text! I wrote the previous post with T9 predictive text. I was typing fast and so the sentence was supposed to be: "... but then save up and additionally buy the N93!!" I forgot to toggle between possible words on the T9 system. If there was one aspect I would improve on the N93 it would be to implement a full QWERTY keyboard.

Rah33L: i-mate K-Jam and Nokia's N93 are different types of phones. The N93 is really a media phone with a few smartphone functions thrown in. The camcorder is great. The best one can attain on any mobile phone. Even its junior brother the N93i cannot compete because the N93 records video in stereo. Photos are reasonable especially in daylight. The N series browser is arguably the best browser one can buy for a mobile phone. So in terms of camcording, photos and browsing the i-mate cannot compete. The N93 is thus a media phone phone for entertainment. The i-mate is a business phone. The fact that it has a full QWERTY keyboard, push e-mail and editing of office docs identify it as a business device. The N93 has none of the aforementioned features. If I was you I would keep the i-mate but then rate us and additionally buy the N93!! Attain the best of both worlds. PS: the nearest any phone has come to balancing business and entertainment features is the Nokia E90.

To Rah33L: the screen size of the N93 and N73 is exactly the same at 2.4 inches (diagonal) and 48mm*36mm (length*width). Both phones have a 264144 colour palette. The screen of the N93 is more versatile because you can view everything in either portrait or landscape mode. This comes in handy when viewing films, home videos, word files and the internet. Conversely the N73 only supports portrait view in all things which I feel is restrictive. If one now considers that N93 additionally has WLAN, TV out, camcording in VGA (30fps)and optical zoom, it is a far better phone than the N73. The big question is will you find the N93 too bulky. I have large hands and welcome the size but if you are a diminutive woman you may complain.

Tere: Camera is very good. I have heard that it is better than the N95. Don't know about that though. But it is very good. Huge high quality photos. Haven't really used the video though. Have nothing to compare to though for sound quality. The memory isn't bad, internal. External, you can use upto a 2GB memory card.

i have had this fone for about one week and i really like it. it is the best that i have had . ive had the n73,n70,6260,6600,3750,7280 and the only close match is n73. the n73 and n93 both have missing features from eachother when compared. the n73 has a louder speaker. i would not trade it just because of that. to me the fone is easy to use, and with a big keypad, it is easy for me to text.

Is it possible to sync my data such as Contacts over the air? I currently sync with Office Outlook on my Desktop via Bluetooth. But it would be useful to able to sync with my Desktop while I am away from home.
