One small question: although the speaker is in two parts, are they mono or stereo speakers like the 6233, N73 and N95?? Although the sound quality is clear I think they are mono. Texting in landscape mode is great but the c, 3,6,9, and # keys are too close to the screen, especially the c key. This makes them difficult to access. Nokia should bear this in mind for any future phone with this form factor.

Mike, do a hard reset or better still upgrade the firmware. Hey Troy, how's it going? I hope your new E90 is rocking! I'll be getting mind end of the month. As for N93's barcode reader it definitely works for me. The problem is it takes much time to register a reading; up to five minutes! Hello Jon, you may speak of denial, but if a user is giving an honest opinion then we have to respect it. You may have had a faulty device. In my experience, photos are OK in good lighting conditions. I have printed many and satisfactory results were obtained. Besides Nokia always emphasized the camcording abilities which are yet to be surpassed by any phone. Even its brother the N93i does not record video in stereo. I have had my device since September last year and I am more than happy.

best of the best dispite the fact that i did not use it before. my be i might be the happiest person if i use it one day or else please send me one .

DENIAL
Is what n93 users are in! Don't worry I understand it happened to me too...I had a sharp 903 and the pics were amazing (3.2 mpx)
My co-worker wanted my phone so badly that I sold it to him and bought a n93. I was
horrified the first time i used it to take a picture! I asked myself "how can something I just spent so much money on take such bad pictures?" And really the pics are pretty bad so much noise and dull colour if not taken in optimum lighting conditions. Don't get me wrong though...everything else about the phone was really good : design, wifi, video recording, screen etc... BUT the camera definately SUCKS!

To ''Madpanas'': N93 as far as I am aware will NOT support a memory card above 2GB (Mini SD/Trans Flash). Sorry can't help with WiFi. Still haven't got round to using it yet.

Just want to ask if anyone have already used the 'Barcode Scan' feature of the n93? I've tried to use it but it don't work for me..

Im very satisfied with this phone. I got the black one. The look is great. It has a lot of good features. What I like most are the ff: good camera and videao, cool TV out, stores up to 2GB, fast wifi, cool portrait view, loud speaker esp for playing music files, great internet browsing, and caller's name being spoken.. plus other feature that an Nseries have. I've already used N70 ME and N80 and N90. But for me, this one is the best deal. Im supposed to get a P990i but after I made a thorough comparison, I decided to get this and I didn't regret it.

I have had this n93 since October 2006. problem is photos and videos are comming out blured (not clear) tried all adjustments to no solution. anyone with solution please sent to my email- mbuumba@hotmail.com

to txlg.did you tested whit 4gb or higher sdhc cards and haw work in wifi mode.about headphones i have same problems-i buy for 5$ same adapter annd whit instalated lgg-jukebox player sound is fantastik in my n73.but i wanna buy n93 for voip and skype usinf wifi.so your opinion is important to me

Some people are reporting problems with this phone. Switching itself off, poor photo quality etc. I have had this phone for about eight months now and it's working fine. Perhaps some people are just getting supplied with faulty phones, or perhaps a dodgy batch. So don't get put off. Like I said. Mine works fine. Only downside, it is a bit big and heavy. But if you want a phone with very advanced features then it will be big. So far my only moan about this phone is the camera lens cover is a bad design. It's plastic and taking it on and off it soon cracked. Now I just leave it off. Camera lens has not got scratched just yet. The other issue is the headphone socket. You need an adapter (few Pounds from a certain online auction website) to use normal/proper headphones.

i own it n i m happy with everythig it has n i knw its much better phone thn all other nokia..... n95 is just a persons opinion

N93 is quite a good phone when it comes to it's camera and camcorder.But the problem am encountering is; each time a call comes in, it makes a funny sound and the person from the other side doesnt even hear me.
I took it for repairs and the change the flex, the board; but all of these prove abortive.
Please! someone/nokia help me, guess am losing my phone

i own an N93, i got it from a yr now. the phone is excellent. and for ur info "deepack" the N93 is much better than the N95. try taking pix with both mobiles and compare and contrast the pictures. ull find out the pix taken by the N93 r much better than of the N95. its true the N95 is 5MPx but for ur own info it is compressed unlike the N93. i own other phones as well like the E90, N91 8GB, and other phones. i compare with all phones. still the N93 always impresses me with its cam and video quality.
no phone can compete with the N93 camera wise... in addition to that the N93s hardware is much better than of the N95. N95 have poor covers, + the slide with use gets loose... although the N95s LCD is much better than of the N93 cause is is bigger and 16 mill. colors. thats the only thing better than the N93.
compare and contrast b4 talkin and criticising the phone.

i've bought the n93 in august 2006 and now it make one year. since last month the battery life is up to 4 days!!!! i'm not lying. also i do talk (30 min/day) and take pictures and other things.

8 months after my upgrade I regret getting the N93. The handset switches itself off and also cuts out in the middle of calls and sending texts. The unit also gets warm and drains the battery after a full charge in 5 hours. Even the replacement had the same faults. Im now being sent another phone because they cant fix the problem.
Ive always had Nokia's and the N93 is the least reliable I have had.

if you know what development means then you must be talking about nokia n93,it is very nice phone full of everything,clear pictures,nice stereo.if your thking of getting a phone then think of n93.
