i hate how people keep comparing this phone to the k800. they are not the same thing. the n93 a video camera that happens to be able to take stills also. the n93 is a multimedia computer. the k800 is just a phone. it doesnt even have an operating system as flexable as the n93 or any nokia n series. please stop comparing the 2 devices. they are not the same class. they are not even in the same price range.

I am thinking of buying a N93 but i just need to make sure from people who are using one that will i be able to install msn or yahoo messenger like smart phones as this phone is wi-fi compatible so i would be able to surt the net but what about instant messenger. Can anybody be of some help Please.

Hi Badbi and Nokia N93 Users
I experienced the same thing. B&W if used in night mode for video. I already went to Nokia Care Twice to have my fon reflashed with V 20.0.058 because of the software slows down and I experienced auto shut off. For everyone experiencing this, I suggest that when you have your fon reflashed or upgraded, reformat your memory card if you have contacts stored because if you dont, before the installation of SMS Accel. SIS ( For faster processing), you will experience auto shutdown. Therefore, make sure that after you reformat your fon, transfer the contacts to your unit, then reformat your memory card then lastly, install the SMS ACEL SIS.

This is a really good phone, the nokia n93, I bought like 3 months ago, and its really good. There are no problems. At first when i saw it, i was lyk, aww man its so dam big. But i still bought, i have no regrets buying this phone. Its a better phone than the sony ericsson k800. The ones who cant decide which phone u should buy, i highly recommand u to buy this phone.

Maged Zaki just got this mobile and it is best of the best , N80 has very low battery just half the day and empty and k800i is good for low budget but N93 is the best with great TV out and Awsome Stereo sound also 3d gaming is so powerful it is also so inteligent as you can personalize it as you need and it is so smart , I can talk to it ;-) with its voice recognition , its great in surfing the internet with its Lap top pose and great wifi, The camera is cool in video , the only disadvantage that it can't hold more than 2 GB SD.

This phone has software problems, can't use data cable to connect to PC cosze its default is Bluetooth device connection had to takae it back for software fixing

can anyone tell me, actually what quality does n93 have for its secondary camera? is it cif or vga. because the person at the nokia center told me that n93 has vga quality for its secondary camera. thank u.

N93 is the best video capturing phone produced by nokia it contains all the features anyone wants but its problem is its big size when puting on the ear while talking

Guys !
I had said earlier that after I installed firmware version 20.0.058 video is recorded in Black & White in night mode under low light conditions. Have anyone of you experienced this ?
However taking still pictures in night mode makes the pictures brighter and detailed and in full colour.
Why does this happen
I have given few video clippings and still images shot in automatic & night mode to Nokia care center. They have said they will forward the same to R&D Nokia
Please share with us if anyone of you using N-93 with 20.0.058 firmware face a similar problem
