They might be able to check the unit for you.

There are 2 types of phone that is coming from china, 1 from Nokia, which Original China and there is another 1, it is called a knock-off.

yesterday i bought a n95 but there is a problem that is i cant send any text messages and also tried to go to settings but even it want open and when i tried to send a message it goes to the first page of the phone so please be kind enough to help me someone in this issue my mail address is gayanshameera2005@yahoo.com

The Phone is good but the Battery life is very-very poor. Everyday I need 2(two) times charge. Another thing that the cell is always automatically tries to connect the Internet without Access Permission. I have checked all settings. No solution found. Sound & Picture quality is excellent. Camera is ok. But I am only disappointed about the Battery life. Either it’s a solid Phone..... DIPU.(Dhaka,Bangladesh).

The original N95 has star like screws behind. plus you can see clearly with the graphics if its real or the fake deal. Finland owns original, China produces the clones!

Means ... moreYes, I experienced some problem with my unit, but those problem were resolved either by updating the firmware (i.e., hanging, shutting down) or taking it to Nokia shop for repairs...
My point is that we should find out more about the problem B4 making a judgment call. A learning curve will always accompany any new unit you purchase.
