did you ever want to have ur n95 landscape with keypad open? with no additional software! ;)... well heres how! u slide up fone. open camera. press review key(nxt to camera key)it go's to gallery. then exit gallery! close camera shutter and VOILA!!! landscape mode n keypad open.... discovered it by accident :|

This phone and its 8GB counter part have everything. i have the phone and i can tell you that there is really nothing this phone Cannot DO unless it is because of your carrier.
Only bad things are no touch and qwerty keyboard. i know that may hurt some of you but if you want from what i have noticed, you can get a bluetooth portable keyboard and use it anywhere. also connection this phone to your TV to play games and make calls is always fun too =) like i said all it is missing is touch and Keyboard but i guess the N97 is getting that covered =)

Hi all,
Just recently noticed the when i'm using "Nokia Maps (2.0)" it won't let me change my "Internet Setting"
When I go on "Options">"Tools>"Settings">"Internet" it kicks me out & closes the program(Maps).
What is wrong?? anyone??

Anyway, I came across this service bulletin from nokia about intermittent hangs and freezes. I showed it to the tech, and asked him to do the repair on my unit (it was already out of warranty anyway.)
I took less than an hour, involved putting in two small caps on the board, and he charged me i think 200 or 400 for it. He gave me a discount cause i gave him a solution daw for the n95 freeze.

para mi este es el mejor movil! aunque ya esta un poco antiguo es el modelo perfecto para todo tipo de uso, se que lo que lo ultimo es la pantalla tactil, pero la pantalla tactil tambien te pone muchas limitaciones y delicadesa, mes sin embargo el nokia n95 con sus teclas te permite hasta jugar cualquier videojuego sin ningun problema con la movilidad y ademas es duradero, y a diferencia del nokia n95 8gb el nokia n95 tiene ranura para tarjeta de memoria micro sd que actualmente se puede extender hasta 16gb; oviamente la nokia no penso en esto cuando lanso el n95 8gb.
Por todo esto y aun mucho más para mi este es el mejor de los moviles.

can reinstall or upgrade firmware
or you can use phoenix upgrade or reinstall firmware

It seems to me that you opine on the unit based on 2nd hand info and those users are inexperienced ones.
I have the unit for 1yr 9mo now and I don't have any major problem with it...

Essentially anything that tasks the video part of the phone. Fixed mine by going to a tech. Haven't rebooted/hanged since then, about 3 or 4 months ago. I love this phone now. Used to hate it like hell.

hey i have nokia n95 but after i hav taken a few pictures it always freezes on me and while on the internet the same thing happens. has anyone ever had that problem with theres before and did you to correct that prob?

I work at a mobile phone company, and I've sold a lot of these phones. We got a lot of negative feedback on the N95, especially according to the software.
My advice: DON'T BUY THIS BIG AND UGLY CRAPPY PHONE.
