i update it from NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATER..try download NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATER from nokia website and check if your fone latest software is available..

Flywurx, r u really sure that 2-3 hrs of music + 2 hrs of radio listening + 100-200 txt msgs will have you charged ur N95 every other day?! Can a 950 mAh battery last like that? My N91 with 900 mAh battery lasts for only 3 hrs of music playback or 1 hour of web browsing.

here's what i did to get more juice from your battery...
*since i dont use the 3g functiona of the phone that much, i only connect using GSM...
once i need a UMTS connection, I simply turn on dual reception...extends battery life by an additional 12 hours as compared to using UMTS all the time...
*I reduced the brightness of the screen to just above minimum illumination...
i can still read text messages and is still brilliant in low light conditions...extends battery life by about an additional 3-4 hours..
*I never turn off the sleep mode...i know, it can be annoying at night but its a trade-off i can live with...extends battery life by an additional hour or so...
in effect, i only charge my phone once every other day...
a typical day for me consists of
100-200 SMS sent and received...
2-3 hrs listening to mp3 files...
an additional 2 hours listening to the radio...
and watching an occasional scandal or two before i go to bed...

I spoke to communicAID today and they told me only this version is out.

N95 i the worse phone ever made by nokia bcoz battery life is not good.i would advise any1 not 2 buy fone rather go 4 HTC P3300

Aikon, the N93 is the best in video recording. Not only it records DVD-like quality videos in MPEG-4 VGA resolution at 30 frames per second, it also encodes audio in AAC STEREO because the N93 has 2 microphones used in audio encoding. The N95/N93i records audio in a video in MONO only.

ROCK. made by nokia means made in china. if it's from finland it will say made in finland on the box. mine is from china and no problems.

For the guy that is now using his fourth n95 bro your phones must be coming from china. i have owned more than 70 phones in the last 4 years and this one is the MOST AMAZING one i have ever owned. It s very reliable try buying the one that says made by nokia next time.

this multimedia computer really suxxx...
I m not a fone idiot ... I m a fone specialest who knows how do deal with smartphones..but in vain ...sold it yesterday & got a Sony Ericsson P1i...thats what I call a "smart" phone..!
one thing to tell for nokia, instead of putting fancy double loudspeakers , put larger RAM & better battery...dont treat ur customers as foools..

N95 is da fone of da millenium its class, neva seen such, with its microsoft viewer, abobe reader, gps and 5mp wat more can u ask for? if u dont have it , ur missin.

I need some help with problems with my N95.

When it starts up, the video ends a half-second before the sound does, and it never did that until I updated to v12.
------
After going from v12.0.13 or something like that to v12.0.14, some of the songs I add after that won't play unless I fast forward a second then hit play.
------
Everytime I turn on my N95 it says I have a voice mail, but I don't. If the simcard ins't put in it won't say it. My friend said my N95 had a problem reading my simcard.

When I use the main camera, a dot shows up in all the pictures and on the screen before I take them. ***This is ONLY in picture mode, NOT video***

I also have some questions:
How do you start up the voice activation from the home screen? When my phone's in my pocket, it will beep and after a few seconds say 'no match found'.

Also, after getting v12, I noticed that the multimedia key next to the camera shutter key flashes:
1st: right when the screen dims after I slide the top down and the keys lock
2nd: and again after about seconds.
Is it supposed to do that?
