Hello. I want to ask you about new Nokia's slide mechanism. I remember old Nokia 7650 wich its slide mechanism was terrible bad. After 2 months it was a crap. This part which was sliding, was rocking from left to right like in cheap toy. I'am affraid that this will be again my nightmare when I'll buy Nokia's slider. Is this new mechanism is much more better than that old, or this is the same old bad piece of s**t.

Nokia are extremely crafty. The N95 8GB has been announced and will soon be released. Look...with a bigger battery, more RAM and bigger screen and all software and hardware improvements gleaned from the original N95 it is bound to be a better device. Nokia are hoping not just to catch new buyers but to entice owners of the N95 to give them up and buy the new 8GB version. I am wondering whether it will work. The crux will be the battery. I personally think it should have been more powerful eg 1500mAh but perhaps 1200mAh may be just enough to carry this juice demanding device.

hv all good functions but battry sucks..it hardly work for an hour or two if you use browsing, vdo,streaming..

most Nokia (i hv used) - the "silent" function does not work it say its on "silent" but incomming calls keep ringing.. (is it a misktake in my set)

Nokia 6233 records at VGQ quality, and it's very impressive. By the way 6233 is a very high tech handset, but not lucky enough to grab the attention.

                                  Hi everyone,

I have encountered a problem with my n95,is that when i play java games while listening to music at the same time it won't play the next song automatically.I have to press the menu key to exit the game for the music player to continue on the next song.
Have anyone encounter this problem or is the n95 is design like that??

                                  HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP .....THXXXXXXXXXX

it's a great phone, I loved it however it had to go back because of the battery life of half a day, lack of 3g support in USA (N95 US is comming out with a better batery very soon) I wish it had a touch screen but I can do without it.
In summary it's a great phone, GPS, camera etc. it's the best so far.

one more thing it does not pair with BMW well.

M@T2: yes the 6233 has VGA camcording but only at 15fps and without Carl Zeiss endorsed lenses. The N95 has VGA video at 30fps with Carl Zeiss which is so much better. Furthermore in the 6233 you cannot fast forward or rewind recorded videos which is quite ridiculous. That is why I always go for Nseries: much more dynamic features. Oh yes...a word to "future N95 owner." BOTH the N93 and the N93i record video in stereo (AAC stereo at 48KHz) because both phones have a pair of stereo microphones ie two mics for each phone. N93 has better stereo separation because its mics are further apart. As for the N95 it only his a mono mic.
