@mjxx Please stop SPAMMING ! If you don't like the N95 fine but please don't post the same opinion 3 x the same day. Look at the poll and you'll see why the N95 is tops - by far. Even the Nokia shares went up by almost 40% since its release. The N95 trully Rocks :)

      OK

The N95 is one of those phones where either you get a good one or a lemon. I got a good one so I can't complain. The slider is great, not squeaky or weak at all. The battery life is above average with my 1200mAh battrey. The camera is pretty good oonce the pictures go onto a computer and are expanded into 5MP. I use a Mac so everything works seamlessly together. The only thing I can think they could've done was to add a xenon flash instead of a LED and to make the material quality better. But I've dropped my phone a couple of times and its fine, not even a scuff mark.

I'm interested to see Samsungs G800. May be a true rival to the N95.

N95..jus lyk sony, uses europe as a test base, n then unleashes the final product in america..personally, i lyk the fone. Sure it has a useless battery no better than, well anything. But its got so much more 2 compensate 4 that. Ur prob thinkin wats the use of havin so much wen u can only spend 2-3hrs on it...giv nokia some time, or y not contact em on their website.. I'm sure they'l think of sumtin. If not, then form a rebelion!

In the past several years, the U.S. has been left behind in this mobile technology. I think that Nokia has finally made a good deal for them that they make them ahead of us now with the new version of N95 with 128MB RAM & 1200 mAh battery all especially elaborated for them.

M@T2, if what you say is true about the new American N95 having 128MB RAM and 1200mAh battery, then the Americans have a much better deal than the Europeans. It is amazing that in this day of technological advances Nokia are unable to build a battery of 1200mAh with the same dimensions as the current 950mAh version. As for 128MB RAM: it should have been on the device in the first place! Only goodness knows when Europe will get the same spec. The so called N95i (8Gb) just causes more confusion.

I do not recommend this phone..
Battery life is terrible, it Works for 12 to 16 Hours only when you don’t do much, if you use WLAN will last for 3 hours only. When you use GPS last for 3.5 hours.

I strongly reject this phone, I have been using NOKIA phones since 1997.

We just bought an N95 a week back (we already have the N73, and Motorola Ming 1200, and a Nokia 6233). I must say this was the biggest mistake of our life.

First the battery life is pathetic -- just three hours or so, using only one of the features- GPS. Just two hours or even less than that if we used the WLAN.

What use is a whole list of features if you cannot use any of them?

WE were doing a cross country yesterday and you won't believe that we have to keep the tin can connected to our car adapter the whole time, as soon as we got off to go inot the mall, the battery just flowed out within an hour or so!

The music system is worse than even N73, and has cheap third class headphones, compared to Sony Ericcson (I stupidly sold my SE W810 for this iron block)!

The build quality is also extremely poor with squeaky sliding and tacky plastic finish.

What's more the photo results from N73 were much better despite lower megapixels -- one wonders if more megapixels is also better?!

All those who are jiving up the N95 evidently have not bought it, or were using a really pathetic set before, otherwise they would know what other phones are offering, and at what price.

                          A phone with a US$ 700 price tag, worth US$ 400 or less. A Failed product!

Yes the N95 supports SDHC. That includes the 4GB cards available now and the 8GB cards that are going to be released this winter.

No, the origonal N95's cannot use the 1200mAh battery that the American version uses: it's simply too big.

                                GUYS & GALS,

There is a new compatible battery out from nokia that is a lot better than the original battery. One question to all!!, please if anybody knows FOR sure,

                                ok, here goes,

I heard that with the new firmware, 4GB HCSD cards work wit the N95.

The U.S. version N95 has the same QVGA (240*320 pixels) resolution like the original N95. The differences are the 850/1900 MHz HSDPA support instead of 2100 MHz. Some design modifications in the rear part of the phone to fit the larger 1200 mAh battery inside. I don't know about the "N95i" or "N95 8GB".

I've just bought an N95 with 12.0.013 version/software. I just wanna ask you guys if you also experience these things...about the review key (your shortcut key to your gallery at the right side of the n95), does it really blink twice after using your phone even if you did not activate or use either your camera or review key? how many shots did you have when you chose burst in the sequence mode of the camera? Do you have a same number of shots when you repeat the burst option in your sequence mode? because the maximum number of shots i came up to is 6 but sometimes 2 or 3 and sometimes 1? do u also experience this thing? thanks for those who'll respond with these concerns of mine.

the are two basic problems with the n95. 1) battery life is pathetic 2)the screen always freezes but just for a lil while. otherwise it,s the best handset available. i work at o2 and i have tried and had a play with most handsets but i tell you i can,t wait to see if nokia come out with something better than the n95 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! but till they do i,m sticking to my n95 !
