someone asked about this phone being available in canada, its not available in canada and wont ever be available here. we are way far behind when it comes to technology. people dont even know what (3G) is down here. we wont have something like this for another year or so at least.

quick help. What comes with n95 in its orignal box (like all the accessories, manuals, software etc.)? I need to know fast cuz they dont sell this in Canada and im picking one up in less than 24 hrs. i would appreciate if someone can answer the question.

i wish i have enough money to buy n95.It has many cool features and i love it so much.Cool camera to snap my family pictures and so on..

I do have to admit, the moment I saw this phone I was intrigued- and while it was a lil' big for my normal choice in phone, the fact it could do soo much quickly won me over and I bought the thing outright for $1200 AUS.
It had a lot of potential.. but I don't know whether it was the phone itself or the Symbian interface but it was buggy from day one. So many software malfunctions, freezing up, jumping to applications I didn't even open. Within 2 weeks I tried taking it to the Nokia centre who gave me the worst customer service and refused to talk to me about it, telling me to take it back to the store I bought it from. I did, had it sent it back for repairs, where they upgraded the firmware, only for it to die within 2 days and have me to have to send it back again.
They ended up giving me a new handset, and I thought this might be the end of my troubles, but within days it went nuts, even right outside the phone shop I bought it from so I could show the salesman exactly what was going on.
In the end I am in the process of getting a refund.
Other things urked me- I expected a higher build quality- the slide doesn't feel firm; it was also rather laggy compared to non symbian Nokia's. Actually the whole experience turned me off Nokia in general, as to my partner and family and successfully appealed to the IT guys at work to do away with Nokia and move to other alternatives for our work phones.
I have to say i was very disapointed with this phone on the whole, I was told maybe the issues was that Symbian requires apps to be shut off before proceeding to opening new ones, which i DID, but still thought it defeats the purpose of having such a powerful convergence device that can't multitask?

have u compared the same pic on the n95 with the other ones u say r better? i don't think so. i have personally owned an n80, currently own a n95 & n73, have a friend with the rizr and just know that the n95's display is far superior. if you haven't before, get ur eyes checked.
have u compared videos taken with the phones on a pc? guess what? i believe not!!
now i know that you r smoking when u say the web browser is inferiof to the rizr? e2? dude, i've owned the moto n its not more impressive. the browser on the n95 renders text just like on your pc, colors and images as well. actually do a real comparison before typing garbage.
name one SE display that is better. Samsung by far have the best displays. try looking at any other phone display in direct sunlight then look at the n95.
bluetooth is slower how?
because u can't use the features don't bash the phone!
with up to date firmware, there are no problems whatsoever.

got this phone for the sat nav feature as well as other things. Very dissapointed that nokia didnt put in a better gps. Best solution is still to buy a seperate bluetooth reciever with tomtom software.
the launch of windows mobile 6 may tempt me back to a windows device. now that its very stable, the new htc kaiser seems very buyable

1) good design
2) best features
3) VGA 30 fps video (worse than n93 and N93i)
4) Good display (worse than N80,N73,RIZR Z8,N77)
5) Very attractive looks but looks somewhat cheaper when opened
6) 5 MPX good quality cam (cannot compete real digital cameras)
7) Bluetooth and A2DP (A2DP of motorola and SE is far better)
8) WIFI + UPnP technology
9) Symbian OS
10)GPS (HTC, MOTOROLA and ETEN offer far better GPS)
11) TV OUT
12) 3G + EDGE
13) Infrared + USB and pop port
14) Acceptable web browser (inferior than i.e, MOTO RIZR Z8,ROKR E2,E6,Z6 and SE p990,M600,W950i )
15) Acceptable size (for such device)
16) HSDPA
17) Good flash (far far inferior than K800i,K790I,K810i)
Minuses
1) 5 mega pixel camera is good but produces high compressional JPEG files which loose their quality in INDOOR shoots
2) Video recording's sound is bad (E900i,n93,n93i give better sound of videos)
3) Display is not strong still QVGA (nokia is left behind in displays from SE,SAMSUNG,MOTOROLA,iMATE and HTC)
4) bLUETOOTH IS A BIT SLOWER THAN OTHER devices of this category (N80,N73,P990I,ROKRs)
5) Noisy A2DP bad linking too
6) N95 is left behind in MUSIC DEPARTMENT
ITS NOT A GOOD MUSIC DEVICE.
MOTOROLA SAMSUNG and SE have far far far far far better music features
nokia N91 , 6233,6300, 6288, 3250 are far better than this device.
BAD QUALITY music is delivered from reafones and builtin speaker.
7) GPS is useless as it is not compatible with GPS softwares
8) N95 battery life is extremely low if u r gonna enjoy 45 minutes of music ,45 mins of call ur fone will not even run 24
and if u r gonna make video..... u can record only 30-40 mins of video as battery will be drained out. (1.5 hours recording by n93i)
Other offering are giving far better battery life.
9) less colour availability
10) SLOWER INTERFERENCE THAN N80,N73,N93
11) Hanging problems
12) Slow startup.
13) bad earfones packed
14) Small keypad
15) radio signal are weaker some times.
but still its the CROWN'S JEWEL.
ONLY DUE TO ITS 5 MEGA PIXEL CAMERA I THINK.

I think the N95 is one of the best phone ever!. but, i just discovered that it's refused to charged with a reduced current especialy as my country-Nigeria do not have staple electricity.
So, does it mean that the phone was made for a 110 volts?.

Battery sucks, otherwise it's proably one of the best phones I've used.
Get an additional Battery and Desktop Battery Charger for it

TO ALL N95 OWNERS,
i just got one, its amazing, however when i talk on the phone i hear a ringing coming from the phone.. do any of you have that problem??

Just reading the latest comment's an the comments by afrin and the rest are so dumb. So what happens to the money when you die? As long as you dont harm yourself or others spend on what you like. This phone is very good and I love it and worth every penny. Nokia you have restored my love for you

i had bought this phone for 2months + and overall it is very good.
i dun face any much problems yet.
but if u are buying this, better dun use its free case. it totally sux.

this phone is not a brick, its jus the ryt size
my friend has got 1, and speaker is loud, good quality colour screen, its class!!
which one has got the loudest speaker, n95 or rizer z8?
