well it's no doubt the greatest nokia ever, and i am suprised that it is also good looking, but so many features and it's obvious that you won't even activate half of them, so why to buy it? It has crazy price, well i myself would go for E61 for instance or W950, but definately not this one.

Im a big Nokia fan and I just got the N95 a week ago but the battery is HORRIBLE. I have to charge it twice a day which takes all the fun out! Considering the price, i wish i stuck with my N80.

This phone is so unfinished its scary.

I sell the damned things and about 1/3 of them are being returned as faulty.

Slide is dodgy on a lot of the handsets (feels like the 6280 slide), speaker faults and more software faults than you can shake a stick at.

For a £600 phone it leaves a lot to be desired. Nokia need to stop releasing beta phones on the public and telling them that they're finished.

The phone can have a wireless keyboard attached to it with the minimum of fuss, so yes to that question.
Turn by turn navigation you have to pay for a licence as at the moment there is no other software that will work with the integrated gps (that i know of, please correct me if im wrong) as i know most of the softwares arent yet compatible with inbuilt gps, therefore an external one is needed.
              Hope that helps,

I was used to be a nokia fan ages ago but after switching to SE P800 i started loving SE and i never bought any other phone other than the SE P-series. I have been reading people's opinions on this phone and it seems to me that people who are bashing this wonderful device are the ones who hate Nokia. I currently have a p990i and I won't say I dont like it but I think N95 would be the device that will make me switch to Nokia.

Im currently in the market for a digital camera and a GPS and im thinkin of selling my P990i and getting this device. The only thing that is holding me back is the keyboard. Im so used to typing emails/sms on the full QWERTY keyboard and I think it might be a pain typing with the N95.

I have a couple questions though. I read somewhere that you can attach a wirless keyboard from Nokia with this device, is this true? Also is there a way to get the Turn by Turn Navigation for free on this device? Thanks a million

i have some questions about the n95.
i'm currently using n70 and ever since there had been a leak picture of the nokia n95 (n83) back then i really drooled over it every night.aheem.so my question is, does the maps and other applications stored on the memory card?because the n70 does and the memory of that card is too small for me so i needed to change into 1gb card, but because of that i lost all the features that the phone has.

by the way, i think e90 is also awesome!it has a very huge screen and will give you a laptop experience.the only drawback i can see with the e90 is the 2.5mm jack for headset and the old music player(like on the n70).

e90 has a bigger capacity of battery than n95 but smaller megapixels...which is not really a problem because the more the megapixel a phone has...the slower it is and faster it gets "memory full".

now im inlove with both of the phones, any advice anyone?

because u bought the phone from vodaphone it has there network settings already loaded on the pone the 3g on another network wont work unless you get the memory and the softare of tht phone flashed but that voids the warranty on the phone. i dont recommend it

i bought my n95 outright at a vodafone store , my gps has not worked in two days , i have an optus 3g sim card and the fone is set to dual mode only gives me 2g , i have to manually switch to get 3g video calling but it wont let me access the internet thru 3g via optus

looks like this one is an elf ? any optus users experiencing the same prob as me ?

Ok. I have my digicam. But having this on my pocket always, i only have to bring my digicam on special occasions. Don't frown, people giving only negative comments just dont have money to buy this great all-in-one fone.

On the first date I saw the n95 on the net, I said to myself that it will be like my former n70 and n80 which was awful in my experience. Hangs very often. Then i switched to p990 to w950 to k800 to w850. But then something came to my mind and I realised that i already bought this 'uber' fone. Does not hang and not as slow as i expected. This fone made me trust Nokia again. I highly recommend burning your pockets and buy this super duper uber fone. Im so happy, first time from Nokia.

Cameras in cell phones are just toys. Even the N95's 5 mega pix, is no where close to real 5 mpix camera, even a real camera with 2 mpix gives you a very super pic quality... but the camera in N95 is just so pathetic!

Grow up people! if you want to really capture those special moments and cherish them, then go and buy a "real" camera, even the 2 mpix will do just fine.

dont buy the n95. the first batch has come out with a lot of problems. wait for the second batch. nokia is trying to put to many extras on the phone which results in a faulty phone. they cant keep up with the market.

The phone is fast providing you have the latest firmware on the phone.

All I can say to you guys is if your not happy with the phone there's a 14 days policy where you can return it.

My N95 has to be the best h/set i've ever had, the picture quality is amazing, gps works fine although I didn't pay nokia for the voice for my satnav, I wasn't that stupid to do so. I downloaded it off a webside. The phone has got everything you need and it's relitively cheap too for those who can afford it without been skint.

No complaints here, happy with the phone :-)

I just bought one, and I got to say it is amazing handset. But Little overpriced. The sound quality from the speakers is good better than my (earlier) N73. The sound has bass. Phone is not fast, but not slow as mentioned in the opinion. Camera quality is good. Slider mechanism should had been more smooth means to open the phone I have to slide the phone all the way up with my thumb, instead of the phone opening itself reaching half way (Spring action). But over all I am satisfied
