Have had one for a fortnight and the comments regarding battery life are correct - but after a few full charges and discharges the life extends. One thing though - applications need to be shut down properly as running them in the background depletes the battery - a simple statement but also simply true.

Great phone but GPS is woefully slow and the system, takes a while to "get going". Would probably have benefitted from a greater amount of RAM access and eaier file transfer protocols.

But, bottom line, it's features make this a must have gadget for 2007. I wonder what the cometition will come up with as a response?

it was very hard choosing between N95 and N93i because they are sooo different and they both have something that i like. in order to make it easier, i bought both of them and it has cost me $1400 but to my surprise N95 doesn't act like it is an A-list phone bacause the GPS reciever is not working really well ( ASUS P353 is better ). n95 has some great features with it that no other phone models have though... in the case of my N93i, it has less good picture and video quality than N95 but it has the very sophisticated and unique swiveling panel design that i like to show-off to my friends and strangers as well(heheheheehehehee). why just can't nokia make something like a phone that has the camera of an N95 as well as its feature and with an architecture of an N93i? in this way, we will not end up buying two ExPeNsIvE phones in order to suffice our hunger of a phone with style, sophistication and functionality... nokia! start planning to make the N95i...

yeah plus the build quality now that is something that should have been perfect.I don't agree with the guy who reckoned nokia would loose customers by delaying release,i'd say ppl get more annoyed by being beta testers.Shape up nokia and treat your loyal customers with more respect

listen this is a good phone but don't be taken in by nokia's marketing machine. If you have any knowledge of photography you would realise 5mp with a small lens is not ideal!Infact 3mp would have been better but 3mp wouldn't provide the wow factor.Gps is of a lower quality too as is screen resolution and it has an insufficient amount of random access memory

Thanks a bunch for your reply. Im gonna go ahead and purchase the phone and get rid of my P990i.
As for the people complaining about the battery, with any phone if u start using all the features, it will suck up the battery within a day.
Also as someone mentioned "WHY" Nokia released this in April instead of August because they didnt want to lose customers. Nokia lost me on n92 as i kept waiting forever and SE almost lost me on the p990 cuz it took them forever to release the phone.

i have a question about the nokia n95. the specs are unclear to me as to whether all models of the phone will work in US and Asia. I have had phones not be able to work in Japan and Korea, and wonder if this phone has the CDMA frequency? does wCDMA cover that?

The problems that I encountered with this phone so far:
                          * sometimes, when you're in the gallery, when you want to delete some pictures, it won't let you. You need to reboot your phone to make this work again
                          * Gallery again, while viewing a picture, there are 5 icons on the right side, options to send picture via e-mail, print, etc, the icons are still showing even though you have chosen to hide it. You have to choose the option to hide b4 it works again.
                          *** Overall, N95 is a great phone really! :)

this is the worst phone i have ever had from nokia. here are the resons. 1. very slow interface. 2. big. 3. weak body beacause once it fell in my garden and got a scatch. 4. slow wifi. 5. not that high of sound. 6. finger prints. I got the 6300 from nokia and applied for the internet service from mtc it was and still is the best phone ever the 6300 is better then the n95 accept for the camera and wifi. but if you don't want a phone like the 6300 as a replacment for the n95 go for the n73 or n80 or e65.

I took my n95 to the nokia s.c. for a software update but this new firmware is not very good. The phone is still rebooting itself*annoyed*.I agree with the person who said nokia have to stop releasing phones that aren't finished.I mean this phone would be very good if it performed better.
