The N95 is an Awsome phone!!

The More i use it the more i love it!!
My gf got me the phone on saturday, for my brithday she works at 02 so she got a great deal, and the best of it, 02 are supplying the N95 with 1GB memory Cards with the Uk Maps already downloaded on(included), so you shoulded recieve any data charges! with in the GPS Mode.

The Main problem with this phone is lack of Memory Ram. So Dont Open To many Applications at once or the phone will freeze. you can tell is an application is open beacuse on the menu screen there'll be a little circle icon above the Menu icons. Make Sure You Exit application properly.

GPS (Maps) As No one Explained to me and its not mentioned in the Manual, The First Time you try to locate a Satalite for the GPS It Can Take up to 7 Mins and you need a mininum 3 Satalites Detected with Single Strength.

Does Any one know if a can Add the Saftey Camera Database to my GPS Map?

I came on this forum to get a bit of information about new phones. Gosh! How some people here seem to love their phone ! Don't forget they are just a piece of electronics. Better get a girlfriend and have a life ! Remember : boys change their phone when men change their BMW (personnally i have a Porsche)
                Peace

People are crazy to buy this bugged phone. For 800 dollars you can have a great camera + a great mp3 player + a great standard phone + still enough money to buy a gift to your girlfriend...

I'm in the UK. Am interested in getting this phone, but is there really a difference between the made in Finland ones to the made in China phones? Also, where do I get the different ones from? How can you tell...

Is Vodacom going to wake up and offer this on contract / upgrade? Their Pinelands branch has never even heard of the Nokia N95... :-(

"With great features, comes cork-up handsets..." - Symbian S60 (N95)

Bought the handset on 1 April. Was impressed with the many features especially the wonderful camera / video recorder. But was abit disappointed with the speed comparing with SE phones. Though it was said to be the fastest Symbian phone up-to-date but it is still somehow slower and not as user friendly as SE. Battery life is ok managing to hold on for 2 days with minimal usage (not exceeding 2 that is!) But phone reastarts a few time already and am not really accustomed with such a big slider. Somehow.. am missing my traded-in SE K800i already.. (PS: anyone wans to buy original Nokia spare battery and Kingston 2GB micro SD?) Keke. Looking forward to SE phones... :>

Bought this phone from Bdigital today. The contents included a 1gb Memory Card, so not sure why some people here didn't get one. The phone is very responsive for a Symbian. I've taken a few shots and compared it to my K800i that I had before this and was amazed by the picture quality. So far I'm happy with this phone. I'm still getting used to the Symbian OS, luckily my brother has an N80 so he pretty much teaches me how to use it.. As for battery life.. well i haven't had a chance to notice the battery yet.. I'll post more later..

Bought this long awaited phone and deeply regret it now. Bought it the very first day it was launched in SG on 31-Mar and just after 3 weeks, it actually drop call (for the very first time) yesterday and restart while i was talking to a customer. That afternoon itself the phone went haywire with the display orientation becoming inverted, YES it went to inverted landscape mode and inverted potrait! Plus the display was jumping between on and off always, no response at all from the buttons, EVEN when i took out the battery and restart it! Was deeply annoyed but kept telling myself maybe it was just bad luck and as i was working near suntec area i immediately send the phone in for repair in the afternoon and i specifically told the guys at the care centre to TRY recover my contacts which i did not kept a copy in my SIM card and that i needed the phone back asap for my work. Fyi i did NOTHING to the phone, no downloads no nothing and i swear it was in perfect condition within that 3 weeks usage. Late yesterday evening, someone from the care centre called my wife hp and inform me that the handset was ready for collection and i was then very glad with the efficient rendered service. So during lunch time today i went to collect the phone but i did not test it as i kept the returned battery home. The service report says "Slider Assembly Unit Spoilt" and replaced. Was only able to test it when i got home and the ultimate thing happen, THE FREAKING PHONE COULD NOT EVEN START UP! I could hear the powered-on sound but the display was showing zig zag lines and sometimes with no display at all! Was very very tremendously upset and called up the care centre. The Officer was polite enough to check on the job and while explaining halfway, the called got cut off and i was reluctant to call again as i have to go through the long waiting time listening to pre-recorded msgs before finally getting to "wait" for the attendant to pick up the phone. And as i have given my HP number right at the start while talking to the officer, i was anticipating them to call me back as i was asking on the status of the failed job. The result was disappointing for they dont even bother to call me back. Was utterly disgusted with the "Nokia" brand be it their customer service or the trust you have place in their product and services. Will be demanding the exchange of a new handset from them tomorrow and upon getting it will be selling it straight as second hand. Last but no least thxs for readiong this long passage as i have to voice out and share the bad experience else i feel bad bottling up. Lastly with no offence to others "NOKIA SUCKS"!
