I sell Unlocked phones, and this time i bought USA versions. No complains and its just awsome. For maps u just download map of ur country or state. then just wait to receive good satelite signal and u will seee. u just follow and play with a bit. But make sure when downloading do not disconnect phone, it very slow downloading. What i do is i select maps and leave phone with charger plugged in over night. It's the best way

For useful battery and memory saving tips, go to:

                  http://3lib.ukonline.co.uk/tipsn95.htm

I'm loving this fone! -Anyone in the O2-UK gets a bundled 1Mb memory card with pre-installed maps of UK/Ireland. All you gotta do to get fully set up with sat-nav is purchase a licence for voice commands (currently £47.68 for 3 years) which I think should be transferable to future Nokia handsets and you're away.

I'm a true fone-geek and this is definitely one of the best handsets I've ever owned (my first Nokia since 3210) -definitely worth giving up my SE K800i for.

N95 sucks. i waited for like 6 months for this phone. i expect much more than a piece of junk!
it always hang when i tried to open the maps. it said error. then its stop!! i updated the software but still no good! my sister bought it and have the same problem.
this is a really bad phone. i wonder it has high rating. mayble the all voted by nokia ppl.
my advise: dont buy this phone or you will regret. piece of junK!

This is the best phone ever.

I need a few pointers though

Firstly, how do you get the barcode scanner to work?

Secondly, where can I find some sort of program to recognise Greek characters. I live in australia, so Nokia assumes we all understand Chinese as well as English.

                            Awsome, awsome phone...

                            Battery life:

                            -decrease the displaylight about 20%
-set time until phone enters standby to 1min

..and you will get though 2-3 days in normal use.

                              Bad news people...

Tomtom does work on N95 (I'm using it with Australian map) but sad to say, you need to buy a GPS receiver. Reason being is that the Tomtom program only uses GPS receiver :(

Then again its better than the standard program anyway, the Maps program p**ses me off, everytime I search a address it always says nothing found???

Tomtom works straight away AND its 100% free, all you need to do is buy the Bluetooth GPS for like $70.

If u have been living under rock for the last few months u should know N95 is the most awesome device which pretend to be the best seller of 2007 and its not matter if u like it or not( from www.symbyan-freak.com) please don't moan about battery, with this tones of features it cant be better. specially in weight, size and price that have direct affinity to battery size.

How do i delete emails from the Nokia N95?
arghrgrh... Iv tried every way i can think of, to delete the mass of old emails in my email box on the N95. Iv tried restoring all emails and deteting from Phone and server.. (by marking all)........... it says its doing it and I get the proceessing bar counting the emails down, but I am always left with hundreds of headers... has anyone got any clue how to rectify this and delete mails and headers from the N95?

                                      Thanks for answering my question.

Where I'm living the Nokia N95 comes with Stereo headphones. So maybe for you guys the headphones aren't loud, but if anyone has tried the Sony Ericsson W810i stereo headphones that come with the package, those headphones are what I think is good.

And the N95's headphones are just as loud as the W810i than that's good.

To increase battery life of N95..
Push: Tolls..Setting..Connection..Wireless lan..Change Show wlan availability to NEVER. To save push BACK.
Permanent automatic searching deleted. But you can still manually scan available wlan network. This a small solution until a new version of battery by nokia.
