      I last posted on this board when my n95 first arrived. Now have had the n95 for exactly a week.

      This really is a truly impressive, surprisingly light and extremely beautiful phone. The last Nokia smartphone I had was the lamentable 3230, and after that experience I was hesitating with Symbian OS, but the n95 is lightning fast and Nokia have really impressed me with personalisation (plus, Orange have scrapped of their appalling Homescreen.app).

      CAMERA - I don't know much about photography, but I have a 5MP Digital camera and its quality is noticeably better than the 5MP n95, however the phone comes very close in outdoor shots. Indoors, the flash distorts the image too much and without the flash it looks a bit grainy.

      GPS - as has been noted already, the GPS takes a while to find the satellites, but once it gets a lock on, it's very impressive. The phone automatically downloads the relevant section of the world map when you search for a place - make sure you are using WLAN for this or you'll pay network charges! You only need to purchase "navigation" if you want voice commands - written instructions and tracking are built in.

      GENERAL POINTS - yes, the slider is too loose, and often opens as I take the phone out of my pocket, but I can live with that! THe speaker is very loud and clear, although the quality of sound during calls is disturbed by a very slight hiss.

      BATTERY LIFE IS TERRIBLE!!! In the first few days the phone could not even last 18 hours, although I barely left it alone in this time. However, even now that I am more able to resist the temptation to play, it only manages a day and a half of normal use. Effectively, this means it will need to be charged every night.

      But don't let the negatives get you down. I don't mind charging a phone every night if it does so much, and it *almost* means I can sell my mp3 player and digital camera!

              @mbon

              After reading ur comment i scrolled down to find meteors comment. ummm at no stage did he say that he owned a N95, he said he would most likely buy a N93, N93i or N95.
              So maybe you should read the comments properly.
              P.S if he has some other comment 6 pages in, i apologise i couldnt be bothered reading that far. But as far as i can see, he didnt ever say he owned a N95.

                this shows that n91 has better quality than N95

                Sonic experience – the centerpiece, where Sony Ericsson branded products are dominating. Regrettably, Nokia N95 puts up average sound quality, aimed at unsophisticated users.

                  to every on
                  THIS is what mobile-rewiew.com says:

                  The handset houses two stereo-speakers placed on either side of the casing. The volume they put up is slightly average, but in terms of sound quality they are far behind Nokia 6233, and don’t sound too loud, being a tad quieter than those on Nokia N73. Even though you may give it a go and use the phone as a pocketable juke box, it won’t make much sense, as with volume turned full blast you will surely notice sound distortions.

                          The admin must get rid of these people who threw wasted opinions here.

                          It's been 2 weeks now that i owned the nokia n95, so far I'm still inlove with my phone.

                          The high resolution crystal clear screen is one of the best nokia ever made. Nothing comes close compare to any phones around.

                          Yes, it's not flawless phone but I will still vote for this phone to be the best looking high tech piece state of the art phone!

                          This phone just amazes me in so many many ways! Especially goin online with this phone loading applications was a breeze, taking pictures always wows me! It may not have the best gps but i'm glad it has this feature and i know that this function will help me locate something in the future.

                          I'm not going to go on every detail how this phone makes me so happy just by discovering every functions it can do for the user. Coz too many useless opinions here that people with no life just kept on messin on this site.

                          Admin where are you?

                          I want to throw some straight questions about other peoples experience with this phone but I lost my interest everytime I started reading useless opinions.

                          For those who people who's been thinking to buy this phone, I only have 1 message for them, "GO AHEAD BUY THE NOKIA N95!" For I love inside and out.

                          Nothing so far can beat this phone I will include all makers of cell phones!

                          Nokia won the battle this time and I'm sure for a very long time no one will even dare to invent and compete with this awesome phone!

                            Hey Roger, I want to ask you a question. This was the order from loudest to lowest in terms of what you think.

                            1.N-91
                            2.Nokia 3250
                            3.Nokia N93i
                            4.Nokia N93
                            5.Nokia N73
                            6.Nokia N73 music edition & N-95

                            Am I correct ? Do you have any of theses cell phones that you compared to eachother, or that's what you think the order is from loudest to lowest ?

                            I'm almost certain that the N91 is the lowest or second lowest. Also, I don't think that the N93i is louder than the N93.

                            N93i = 115.6cc N93 = 133cc

                            Anyways, I'm not saying you're a liar, but I was wondering where you got that information.

                            P.S: If you tried the Nokia N93i, N93, which one is clearer ? Thanks

                            I'm going to buy either N93i , N93, or N95
