aaron, 17 May 2009only people who don't know how to hack their phone will be ... morethat's hardly the point if you can hack it or not. The point is that with flagship phone Nokia doesn't make such a mistake. But then again N82 is far from flagship, so you have to hack the device to see anything on the screen. What a discrace:) lol...you're not even in the same league with N82. So poor.....i'm sorry for you, a peasant wants to be king, but he just can't cut it:)

only people who don't know how to hack their phone will be stuck with dim screen. It's either N82 or N85 now. N95 8GB completely left behind already.

Evey few months i check out if there are any phones out there to replace N958gb since i like to try out new things. And as all previous times i found out nothing is better. I tried innov8 this time (slider even worse than N958gb), TouchHD (man i hate windows mobile), N85 (crashed twice in 5 minutes lol), 5800 (camera is really awfull & N82 (small & dark screens are not my thing). So i removed my add for selling N958gb since there is nothing better out there.
Hmmm, waiting for N97 & Omnia HD. N958gb really still is a flagship after all this time. Incredible!

CB, 15 May 2009Can anyone tell me if O2 Uk is good reception, and good for... moreO2 is considered to be one of the strongest signals in the UK along with orange. Vodaphone is poor, T-mobile and virgin are average. 3 is the only network ive not used so I can't offer an opinion on that one.

aaron, 16 May 2009You're multiplying your posts to make it seem like this thr... moreall N-series phones are great, and each has it's special features according to target consumers that it's aimed at. Argueing which is best and poiniting out weaknesses of one or the other is really childish. Prove that you are adult and mature enough to go beyond that and we will all enjoy this forums and hopefully find a solution to the problems we're having with our device or software. It's all the same brand after all right:)and even if it's Sammy, Moto or Se or the others! Love & peace from big sky country

You're multiplying your posts to make it seem like this thread still generates a lot of posts huh? Good.
N82 awful design? You probably haven't got hold of N82 on real life. And you're just basing your judgment on internet pics. You know what? Nokia has the smartest designers in the world. They design phones that look so ugly in the internet pictures but look amazing in the actual like N82 and N86. There are a lot of people who admittedly said how they disliked N82's design in the photos but retracted afterwards after seeing it in the flesh, especially the black N82.
And a mobile review expert over at smape.com said that N82 is a class on its own. You don't usually get to see an all-in-one device in a candybar form because most of them are in sliders. Now which do you call boring?
Actually, N82's Xenon flash alone is enough to beat all N95 8GB's features combined. There are a lot of phones which are N95-ish, phones which are dual slide and have media keys, but N82 is the only S60 phone which has a Xenon flash (apart from the low profile 6220 classic and G810).
N82 is a standout in the crowd. While your N95 8GB has a lot of clones, I mean better clones.
And lastly, the battery issue that you're pointing out on N82, that's irrelevant now on the latest firmware. You're still living in the Jurassic period so why wouldn't you sell your old aged N95 8GB and buy the the best of the best N82! Hahaha!

aaron, 16 May 2009How outdated is the N95 8Gb? Let me count the ways: 1.Bulk... moreoh i almost forgot- because it's called the little Chernobil in our country, you have 200% of getting a cancer then when using an ordinary phone. The phone is actually on the limit of hazard with SAR (and that's the manufacturers claim which is known to be pushed down). Stay away from this s**t if you cherish your life:) Everything else could be classified as user opinion but this is a fact. Europeans care about those things that's why in Europe it doesn't sell at all and adds are full of people re-selling it for even 100€ or less, but if you wanna die sooner go ahead and use it and prefferebly carry it close to the heart in the jacket lol - i rest my case - see ya l*ser:)

aaron, 16 May 2009How outdated is the N95 8Gb? Let me count the ways:
1.Bulk... moreNow let's see what we got here - N82
1)Awful design and cheapy feel
2)Awful and unusable keypad
3)pitty of a battery life
4)pitty of a small screen with max brightness equal to N958gb lowest level lol
5)no gaming keys
6)position of the keys is less then optimal
7)bulky and chunky candybar even more than sliders lol
I think it's the worse N-series phone ever built - it has no style, just an average photo-phone - boring as hell....bljak hahahahha

How outdated is the N95 8Gb? Let me count the ways:
1.Bulky and fat
2.Pointed and sharp edges
3.Still has the old pencil key
3.No camera lens cover
4.Single LED flash only
5.3.5mm jack at the right side
6.Still has the old infrared
7.Still has the old miniUSB port
Yuck! It's a phone during the Jurassic period.

I rarely visit this thread now. It's too boring here. Before only 5 persons were posting here. Now they're down to 3. I think the other N95 8GB users have already sold their phones. They must've have realized how outdated the phone is. LOLZ!

ahh i'm back after i've done my exams =)
wow that aaron's still at it eh?
did u answer my question on what u're gonna put in if u get a 16gb card on n82?
a simple question, why did nokia create n82?
what was an advantage that n82 has over n95 8gb?
a very easy one to see is it's xenon flash, right?
apart from that? n95 8gb has them all..
(ahh but the 3.5mm is on the top of the phone! bla bla bla..)
i'm comfortable with having it on the left side of the phone =)
and when i tried n96's 3.5mm jack on the top of the phone, i didnt think it was a big difference =D
