I'm a music freak. I have large collections of music files in various formats. I collect music on the go. New songs, old music, new discoveries, all of them amounting to already 4.3GB of memory. I'm also now fond of downloading full AVI movies. Each movie is around 160MB. I never want to upload a movie on a memory card, delete after watching, then upload again if ever I want to watch it again. I have some movies which are in MP4 format and around 600MB in size. Uploading them takes ages so it's necessary to keep them on my phone as long as I want without worry of running out of memory for another movie uploads. Playback is never a problem. N82 can play movies in crystal clear quality even on its 2.4" screen. And most of the time, I watch those movies via TV-out when I'm at home because that's the most enjoyable viewing experience anyway. Can you put all these files on an 8GB flash memory? And don't forget. Every moment is spontaneous. There are a lot of memories each day to be captured both in stills and in moving pictures all at the highest quality. If you have filled up your 8GB all for media alone, will you have still enough space to use your phone's digital and video camcorder functions? No matter what you say, 8GB for a multimedia powerhouse is never enough. 8GB means uploading some movie files, then delete after watching them inorder to upload another movies. And have I forgot to mention about applications, games and themes? Memory expansion is always an advantage. 2.8" is better but 2.4" is good enough, because most of the time TV-out is always a better option. And pls don't tell me who will use TV-out when you're outside. You won't be watching movies on your phone while in school, in a restaurant or in a bar will you?

aaron, 07 May 2009You could have done better than that. Look at your ip code.... moredude what's so good about N96?
it's only an upgrade, and a little one also..
guess what, i'm not saying this because i can't afford to buy one..but i'm saying this because I CHANGED from N95 8GB to N96..then realize it's not good enough!
1. battery life very short 950mah
2. the 12 T9 keypads are flat, hard to type and the numerical 1,2,3 are too close to the slide
3. the phone is so so fingerprint magnet that i had to clean it everyday and it gives me nightmares
4. the v20 firmware might be better but not as stable as v31 on N95 8GB =D
what?take pictures with ur friends in bar? and how are u gonna show the result to your friends? "err dude can u zoom in on that picture? i can't see a thing" LOL!
did u even get the chance to read Christian's blog?
if you didn't, here, i'll paste it again =)

- N95-8GB – Its what Nokia is all about
- "Every time I pick up my N82 after using the 8GB for a short time, I feel like im staring into a small hole. Its so dark and, well, lifeless compared to the 8GB."
go take a 2nd look if u've forgotten =P
now tell me, if u kept on bragging bout the limitations of the built in 8GB flash memory of N95 8GB, tell me what kind of file are u gonna put in YOUR small N82 with a 16GB card? mp3s? like 3000 files? that's boring dude..
guess what i do to my N95 8GB? i've got the Spiderman 3, Transformers, Tokyo Drift and Fast Furious 4, Hitman, Fantastic 4, Kungfu Panda and other small videos..
there's only 600mb left on my phone now and i think i've maximized the 8GB built in memory..how bout u? gonna put up to 16GB movies on that small 2.4" screen? i don't think so..i'm gonna get an eyesore watching on it =(

aaron, 07 May 2009You could have done better than that. Look at your ip code.... moreMy humble opinion is that if you put all the N-series together maybe all of them in one device could be better then N958gb, but there is no such device. So till then, regards from the owner of the king of phones N958gb.

You could have done better than that. Look at your ip code. It doesn't match mine. Try again next time. You might perfect mimicking my posts. And for the record, I don't like this phone. The N96 is far better than this so-called N95 8GB. Now that the N96 is being given healthy firmware updates, its potentials is now being realized. N96 better than N95 8GB. N85 better than N95 8GB. Even N82 a lot better than N95 8GB. N95 8GB the most outdated Nseries in its class.

Very Sad Day 2day My N95 8gb Died. It was my best phone that I ever Had Than all of a sudden without any prior warning the screen went black and that was it. It was only 16 months old. Rang nokia and they said it was a common problem with what they call "Flex Cable" Broken. It will cost aprrox $150-$200 to fix. Sorry nokia no more for me, Great Phones NOT, cant even last the 2 year contract and only 12 months warranty. What Crap.

Everything seems to be stunning at first glance on N95 8GB. The 2.8-inch large screen and 8GB of built-in memory. Until you knew that the 2.8-inch screen is no different from a 2.1" screen of 6120c. It's the same QVGA resolution. And the 8GB internal memory has no more option of expanding it. Hahaha! :-p

The Iphone can easily replace the sole purpose of your N95 8Gb - showing off to anybody else! But there ain't no other device that can replace what the N82 is best at!

The best phone for parties out with friends is the N82 not the N95 8GB. What? Are you going to show off your N95 8GB all the time with your friends? Of course, you will take pictures of your get together. How you wish you could take good pictures with your N95 8GB when you're in a bar! N82 is the best companion for party goers. It's the best to create and capture memories.

nicely put - and from a N82 user. Well if you're objective and not self-centered and insecure, that would be a fair judgement.
