aaron, 26 Apr 2009How come N82 can't beat N95 8GB when they are basically the... moreFirst it was N82, now it's N868mp which is not even out yet. Relax man, on this section of the forum N958gb is the King 4ever. Is it that hard to understand. And it has the features to back this up. Okay here's an example you might understand:
N958gb is Xp and all the others are Vista....N97 might be Win 7 but hey, we don't know yet. Users have tried Vista and have gone back to XP, because it's just better. It doesn't shine so, but it gets the job done, just like N958gb does. It's quite a just example i would say:)

So chill and stop defending phones that are not even out yet. N958gb might be the most complete phone ever produced by Nokia, it's a trendsetter, a reference, something others have copied and have looked up to.. sorry, but that's just the way it is...

Dani, 26 Apr 2009N82 - Can't beat N95 8GB N96 - CAN'T replace N95 8GB N86 ... moreHow come N82 can't beat N95 8GB when they are basically the same phones in different form factors? And how sure are you that N86 8MP is no better than N95 8GB when it improves everything that N95 8GB has, both hardware-wise and software-wise, plus includes a lot more technologies that are not present on N95 8GB? N86 8MP is the ultimate S60 3rd edition phone. It is the bridge between the S60v3 and the S60v5. N95 8GB was the forerunner in these so-called cutting-edge technologies. But the later devices improve the features that N95 8GB has introduced.
Samsung INNOV8 can and will never beat the N86. Samsung INNOV8 is such a huge phone with cheap 8MP sensor while N86 is a very stylish high quality phone with equally high quality camera lens technology. INNOV8's starting price is 700 euros and it's not even a complete, polished all-in.device while N86 will start at only 350 euros but will pack more than everything that a flagship device of 2 years ago had. I'm talking about N95 8GB. Even N85 is already contesting with N95 8GB. How much more can N86 not contest with and beat the N95 8GB!

Question, 26 Apr 2009Although it's not out yet,but the specifications of N86 8MP... moresure you can - but there are no users actually using it yet- so basically it's only speculations. If you're wagging what to buy, the specs are useful, but until it's user approved i wouldn't decide on it yet:)And try to keep your tone a bit down:)

                  I didn't mention did i?

I saw another video N96 vs N95 8GB: Menu speeds

Again N95 8GB won as it was faster opening applications and menus..

N96 was sluggish and took ages to open a simple menu!!

N95 8GB is still the best!!

                    N82 - Can't beat N95 8GB
                    N96 - CAN'T replace N95 8GB
                    N86 8MP - N95 8GB still BEATS IT!

NONE of the new N-Series phones are near the N95 8GB..

I was watching some videos on youtube yesterday which were N85 vs N96 vs N95 8GB all with the SAME video playing on each phone!

N95 8GB is the best out of all them for playing video, The video playback was more natural and the display being bigger and brighter it just is the best!!!

And then i watched N96 vs N95: Gaming.

Again N95 Wins becuase it has the Graphics Chip + Dual processor!!!!

                    as for the N86 8MP - Thats just a N85 with a 8MP!!

                    Samsung i8510 Innov8 easily BEATS the N86.......

N95 8GB rules over them in every way!!

                    N95 8GB is still KING!!!

tt, 26 Apr 2009you can't compare since it's not out yet. But the way i see... moreN86 8MP will be out in June, and guess what? It will only cost 350 euros, 40 percent cheaper than N95 8GB when it first hit the stores. Of course, I'm a wise buyer. I won't buy it immediately. I will wait some more months to let the price settle down a bit. And what do I get for, let's say, 300 euros worth of N86 8MP? Probably a better slider with a kickstand, scratch-resistant hardened glass, best quality camera lens on a mobile phone accompanied by a lens cover and dual LED flash, complete feature set - OLED, 8Gb + microSD slot, FM transmitter, GPS, Digital compass, WLAN, HSDPA, FP2 plus Touch icons, etc.

@aaron - i thought you're gonna spend the rest of your life with the precious (N82) and now you're thinking of replacing it and with a slider phone, oh my god:) you should've bought N958gb two years ago and saved a lot of time and money hahahaha

The N86 has 8GB also but it is officially named N86 8MP, not N86 8GB, since Nokia want to highlight the 8MP not the 8GB. Judging from the specs, N86 8MP, in every way, is a lot better than N95 8GB. It should be since there's a 2-year gap between the two. But it's still better to wait until the commercial release of N86 8MP. I'm looking forward for that phone as a replacement for my N82 as I'm not yet ready to join the touch generation.

N96 is absolutely terrible...not even worth $1 cos it gives you grief from the second its out of the box. N95 and N95 8GB are the Best and most reliable phones out there, and thats why it has kept its value so well. The N95 *GB price hasnt dropped as much and its even the same price as the N96 in most places.
