n95 is the best but if you want to buy one you should be very careful cos the chiness have immitated to design some.

n82 is a whole lot better and more practical than n95 8gb.tell me what n95 8gb can do that n82 can't.and in what department does n95 8gb excel in comparison to n82?

well i am using Vista and new pc suite....
i can even synchronize text messages and send from the computer...
but about MAC i donot know...
i can give you a tip, you can download a software, sms to text conversion, i think the feature is also available in file explorer software.
you can select all messages and convert to text file.

you can find the software here...
s60 v3 is the folder you will use to find the software.
also lifeblog in nokia n95 8gb is regarding text messages.
you can go to applications/media/lifeblog.
select it and see the messages there.
in new nokia pc suite, you can synchronize lifeblog , which is basically text messages.
I have not tried the life blog, but i have tried the sms to text conversion software.

N96 8gb is now around 23k INR.. so buy a second around 12 - 12.5 k. with box packing. that is well and good. if u get warranty in 14k INR , then okay too .

I bot ths n95 8gb 3 months ago,i startd using da camera n da fon startd to switch off itself,nw da fon doesnt work at ol,it bcme a toy coz i took to mechanic,he said its factry prblm in it,dnt knw wot to do nw,i bot it 500usd.

i donot think that you need a software update...
phone does not freeze as you say, it takes few time to load the application you are trying to open
so chill man... its ok enjoy your gadget
and if you think that the phone is freezing alot...
then check that you have cleared the cache of web....
and if there are any custom installed softwares by yourself
some softwares that we install our selves are bit heavier then the nokia original softwares...
so be careful
if still it freezes... reset your machine
restore factory settings
ok?

its practically unbeatable in the market today...not even the N96 can compete with it.....but N97,Omnia,Innov8....will be the phones to continue its legacy....

HI I ve been uzing the N95 8gig for a month now.Awesome phone cool features and a camera above expectations.My only problem is that the phone freezes for a few seconds sometimes when I press a button.Any software updates??

select the model from the upper right corner
select the theme
then when page opens, click download, then download to your PC
after that send it via bluetoooth to your set and install
or you can just transfer it by PC suite
