      i just learnt it. n95 has the most number of variants among nseries phones and all nokia phones, a total of 6 variants:
      1)n95-1 - standard n95 w/ european/asian 3g;
      2)n95-2 - n95 8gb w/ european/asian 3g;
      3)n95-3 - standard n95 w/ us 3g;
      4)n95-4 - n95 8gb with us 3g;
      5)n95-5 - standard n95 w/o 3g & wifi;
      6)n95-6 - n95 8gb w/o 3g & wifi.
      but n95 is now phasing out after selling over 16 million units worldwide.

        Have used N95 8GB for over a year now, quite impressed with the perfomance. Better option if you're looking for an ipod-great savings. Cant wait for the N96 !!

          Can someone tell me about the build quality of this phone? are there any squeaks and rattles? its been a while this phone has been launched and it still is the king! N96 is exactly the same as this if it weren't for the TV receiver and the huge 16GB memory.

          Your reply will very much be appreciated.

                  I bought nokia ringo 5 ers ago. It alwayz been through some bad xperiece for 5 years n i cant even remember how time its got dropped by rough handling but i still use thiz ph up till now. I aint a hardcore internet savvy nor gadget afficionada cuz i got internet-connected laptop, mp4 mp3 playa, digital camera n everythg separately. For me, my ph is far more cool n durable than nokia n95 n n96.

But if its dropping down, virus infected etc u better to gets dumped tis phone away cuz its merely has 8gb internal memory. No camera protection, quite boxy n heavy....and on top of that u better think twice to have it if u put it in your pocket all day long.

                        this phone is so loved by nokia. they keep on releasing new firmware updates even if its 2 years old already. the new firmware now supports auto screen rotation and ngage built in to the rom. there is also a share online plugin. i wonder if its got a menu transition ala fp2. i want to buy a n95 8gb later. i hope it wont get phased out already by the time ive got money to buy one. what do u think?

                              Well,wat I got is N95.It gives me a headache when turning on and off my unit everytime it's hanging on!SEVERAL TIMES A DAY.I'm still on the 4th month since I bought it.A lot of friends are saying 8gig is more worst in hang problems.It gets lowbat easily too... My God!I'm afraid this will be not functional later!I spent too much for this!

                                      This phone is absolute TOPS. After ditching SE and Alcatel I was doubtfull Nokia will impress me. Well, they did not, however the N95 8gig did. People are so amaized if I use my cellphone via a projector to do most of my meeting's presentations. Most don't even realise until, in the middle of a presentation, my phone rings :-)

                                        Great phone does just about everything battery life not great but better than N95 and the maps are not very detailed unless you connect to the internet but you have to pay a monthly fee to get directions and pay for a internet connection. All that aside it's a great phone
