i can tell you something about this phone .
its that the normal one is better because the normal one has better internet surfing .
and what do you need 8 gig for ?
i would rather surf the net faster than have 8 gig, thats just a waste of time

Got the phone a week now.Upgraded from the N70. Hmm what can I say......GREAT PHONE!!!

To those that says the battery does not last, BS!!! If you correctly charge the battery from the 1st charge, there will be no problem. Played a lot with the phone the first 2 days, uploading, downloading, vids, pics, games, gps, and and. It lasted 2 and a half days. With incomming and outgoing calls and sms's.

      Great phone!!!!!

Hey peepz...juz want ur opinion on n95 8gb and LG viewty...hav troubles choosin:
Why i like the n95 8gb over the Lg:
        Nice multimedia keys
        Stereo speakers
        Series 60 3rd edition fp1
Games and apps are easier to find
Better gallery, music player and camera interface....
Why i like the Lg Viewty over n95 8gb:
        Better, slim, sexier design
        Beautiful 3" touchscreen
        Cool user interface
And again...the touchscreen makes everything more interesting and exciting such as the qwerty and handwriting recognition.....
        So which to choose?
*NOTE* Dont care bout neither memory....2 gig is enough....and both hav excelent 5 megapix camera and brilliant video capabilities.....

i've had this phone for 5 months, never had a problem with it...and just found out a month ago, that its supports video ringtones (in mp4 format and 3gp format)!!!!it's so cool! Just wanted to see if it would play a video when i recieved a call and it worked!Just was curious because my niece has a sony ericsson w580i and it supports video ringtones also so my n95 8gb does!...Told my hubby (has a N81 8gb)and it works also!..Told my relatives who has n95-1 and e90 and it doesnt support video ringtones.....just wanted to share that.

I am using this phone for 3 weeks, this is real king of smart phones. I am using SIP phone on thier wifi internet ans GPS application (Nokia maps are very primitive, best one is Garmin check google ;))
And checking my mail box in everywhere without use my laptop, 5MP camera is very clear, movies 30fps same as regular camera..
If you are thinking to buy a smartphone, Nokia N95 8GB is provide you everything.

                                  to sam:
oh i am so sorry that the fone isnt made of glass, maybe crystal, gold even? its not like plastic is durable, protects the electronics from vibrations and impacts better that most other materials, and its not like its cheaper and lighter. Shame on nokia for giving us plastic. how dare they!

now, if the fone was heavier and bulkier (and more expensive), you would be complaining. stop complaining about something that is as insignificant as "cheap plastic" and focus on the actual points- good features, big screen, good battery. geez.
