I had and I sold it and got the iphone. It is as interesting as the samsung D500. Boring software and UI. Every 50€ digital camera does better photos. The N95 8GB is slow and it is made of cheap plastic.

mechanical moving parts are bound to loosen over time with use, but i must say Nokia can do a better job still....

well had this phone 2 days and its one of the best phones i have used but i had to send it back why you may ask if i said it was the best phone i have ever used.

                  well its the build quality

1 the battery cover is not as tight as it should be it creeks a littile

2 the slider when the keypad is on show the right hand side of the slider is lose there is a bit play with it so when you use the nav keys it feels like its going to drop off

3 when the slider is in the centre it has about 1mm to 2mm play as well meaning that when your walking you can somtimes hear it moving

i have to say nokia should have done a much much better job at teh slider this is the only thing that lets this phone down and i have tried 5 phones from 3 diffrent shops and all have the same thing.

i have read many places about this problem and even fix but its a shame as if the slider was tight i would of kept this phone

but yet again nokia lets us down on build quality

N95 8GB is also fat and bulky. DVB-H....your area's telco supports this network? if not, it's just white elephant....16GB is great, but RAM can support?....i have doubts...you dun wan 16GB full, and takes ages to access the materials.....no point....

I love this model. It is far the v best than the stupid N96.N96 has a very bulky and flat design which is almost unusable.Although it has each and everything including dvb h tv receiver, 16 gb HDD+memory slot. But coz of design i prefer N95 8Gb far the vvvvv best model with v long life span. I love u N95 8GB.................................................

Guys - can you keep the light on the camera alluminated whilst recording a videa(at night) or is it just the flash option? Cheers

bigger screen, longer batt life, more sturdy sliding mechanism....clearer screen? i dun have N95 to compare, not too sure...skipped from N73 to N95 8GB....

                        hey guys

i've seen so many reviews and it appears to me that n95-8g is larger and CLEARER that the standard n95!

                        am i right???

how long have you been using the phone ?? battery life is cut short the longer one uses the phone...example, after 1 yr, capacity may be left with only 60-80%? just a rough estimate, but thg is, capacity will decrease.

You on the radio always....while charging it at same time i suppose? no wonder battery life capacity is low....overcharging will also cut batt life.......

The Batterylife on the Black 8gb N95 was very good at first an could play music an radio alot without it draining out,but now my battery is drowning out more quickly if this keeps happening i will be taking my mobile to the Nokia repair shop for them to check my mobile out,i have also just orded the Black N82 so will see which is the best one to keep for camera an batterylife

just plug in the usb cable, and you can access the 8gb mass memory...

Does this phone have a disk mode? Can you transfer files without the nokia suite? Can I work like a USB stick drive?

If only the N95 has the looks of the LG Secret, it would be the best phone ever, bar none.

This phone is really one of the best, if not, the best phone out there. It is so complete. This is an awesome all-in-one multi-media device. The main thing that they really need to work on though, and it's a shame that they haven't thought it out in the first place, is its build quality & design. It has a creaky quality. The screen is lovely, and the matte finish in the back of the phone is also nice, but I don't know about its thickness, and those buttons in the front needs more refinement. I see people complaining about it's battery life. I think its battery life is ok. Just like any battery operated devices, if you use it extensively, it will drain fast. Also, I notice that the battery drains quickly if you forget to exit running applications, like its wifi or web browser applications. It's easy for everyone to blame the phone's battery life, when it's actually our misuse of the phone that causes it to drain the battery life fast. Make sure to exit or close all running applications after using them (ie. media player, wifi, internet, maps, games, etc.) Sometimes, users open multiple applications at the same time and leave them all open and running, not realizing that when you do that, it eats battery life.
