Ive bought this N95-2 last nov2007 here in Oman and last december suddenly my messages are not sending, if i retry for the third time it shows..."application full, close and try again"....WHAT?!! the memory i consumed is only 1gb, there is 6 gb more to go???... til now im experiencing this problem so i bought a low end phone and it sends all my messages one time. HOW COME LIKE THIS NOKIA? is it really memory problem or firmware?
Thanks hope anyone could shed lite on this...

Hi guys, i've been using N95 8GB for about a month. Awesome phone. But i notice the icons are changed when i changed themes downloaded from web. Those themes worked nicely and changed icons very beautiful on my N81 and N93. Anyone can help please?

I notice its icons have some effect when you put the navy keys still on any icon for more than 2 seconds, it moves to bigger. Is it has something to do with the icons can't be changed? Or any of you guys who are using N95 8GB notice this issue?

Please help. I love the icons from themes i downloaded and i always buy S60 because of this reason.

    Thanks.

Hey all.. I still haven't found any solution ANYWHERE to my blank calendar problem! Can anyone help? Thanx

        I have the latest firmware.

(re-explaination: my calendar is blank. I can see week-days and week numbers but no dates on the actual days. Also no To-Do list or anything related to the calendar application)

dadocta - The N95-2(8GB), like you said, does indeed use the European 2100Mhz 3G frequency, otherwise it has quadband 2G.

T-mobile's upcoming 3G network will be sporting 1700Mhz and *possibly* a frequency that is VERY close to 2100Mhz, but it is not completely clear from what I've read. For sure they will be utilizing 1700Mhz, but I've read various things about the 2100Mhz - if it is used, it seems it might be slightly different than the European 2100Mhz band (so technically it would be like 50-100Mhz above or below 2100Mhz, so it's not a true 2100Mhz).

So... The short answer is most likely NO, your US warranty'd N95-2 8GB phone will not be able to use ANY US 3G network, including T-Mobile's upcoming network. You're limited to EDGE speeds/features.

The N95-4 (North AMerican version of the N95-8GB) HOPEFULLY should be available on the first week of March, which will fully support AT&T's 3G network. It's the phone I'm currently saving up for, but there are going to be better ones released in the near future.

                Good Luck.

anyone wondering if this phone is recommended over any samsung 5mp phone, i say yes if your in america. almost every samsung 5mp phone is triband (save the g600) which means you'll get crappy to no service indoors. trust me, i've had several triband phones in the past but no more! these include the motorola razr v3x and most recently the samsung sgh-d880 dual sim which is great except indoors i have very weak to no service. if you don't believe me, i will be glad to sell u my samsung sgh-d880 for cheap. it is in almost brand new condition because i take good care of my stuff.
so if your in america, look mostly to motorola or nokia as they seem to be the only ones who consistantly care for us here with their quad band phones. as for LG and samsung, i will never get another one of their phones!!!

Does this phone come with FlashLite 3 in the new firmware?Consequently, can one watch youtube videos directly on the phone ie just type out the link and watch? Are these videos the full or the mobile version?
I have a choice between the N95 8GB and the N82. I am going for the N95 8GB because I just cannot stand the keypad of the N82!

First of all, yes fork out 400 for this over that crappy samsung, this is MORE than just a 5 mp camera, trust me, amazing.

Second. I had the North American N95-8GB (NOKNA on the side of the box with the IMEI) with the 2100 umts, and yes it's north american because of the warranty and keypad basically, a North American version will be released soon with 850-1900 3g freq.

Hi, I can either get the samsung G800 for free, or fork out $400 for the N95 8Gig..
Is this phone worth the extra money ?
this is the phone I really want but not sure if I can justify spending that much on it

                                        Hello everyone,

Someone Please clarify this for me....

I have a Nokia N95-2 8 GB phone..the place I got the phone told me that the phone is a US release with a US warranty and will work fine in the USA. I am currently on the T-Mobile network (which does not have a 3G network as of yet) I am hearing that the N95 8GB supports only HSDPA 2100. I hear that is European 3G.

Nokia Customer Support says that USA does not currently have a true 3G network (AT&T uses a version of 3G) I just want to know if T-Mobile goes 3G (I'm hearing it will) will the N95-2 8GB phone that I have work on T-Mobile USA 3G network? Please help!!!!
