                According to Nokia USA - N95 8GB do ONLY support HSDPA 2100 - they have no such thing us US version of this phone as of February 2008. Do not believe everything you see, and if the US version with HSDPA 850 / 1900 support would be released, it will require a hardware change.

                    Hi,

                    I'm in UK. I have N958GB w/ Garmin sat nav and it's fine (little slow for finding things and I have not tried in car yet, but i think i have to get bluetooth GPS thing).

                    Anyway, My WLAN won't work. PLEASE HELP!

                    It detects my wireless, but it will not go onto it. I have a WEP key and want to keep this on. my N95 asks for the key and I put it in correctly. I have even done it as 14 number 2's like "22222222222222" so it cannot be wrong and all i get is "NO NETWORK GATEWAY"

                    What is this? PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE! PLEASE.

                    I know I'm not only person!

                    Thanks you lot!

                                @kam,
                                if your service provider is anything but at&t, i would advice not to get the us version of n95. the only service provider that support 3g in the us is at&t (at least i know of). by the time t-mobile or the rest of the provider supports 3g, there are probably higher-end phone that you would like to buy that going to come out, just my 2 cents

                                    Kam - just like the guy below said, you'll need the NAM version once it's available. Unfortunately the difference between the two is hardware, the actual modem chipset must be changed in order to achieve the 850/1900Mhz 3G bandwidths. No software can change that.

                                    Like I said in a post further down, the American version isn't released yet, but according to mobile city online we should be expecting it in the first week of march. I'm crossing my fingers, because my beat-up N76 is about done for and I need another phone to last until the XPERIA is released. I'm excited for the US N95-8GB!
