      Hey guys,

      Another late realisation.. Does any owners of this phone get a crackly sound when in a phone call? like a distirtion.. as if teh sound is too loud on the other end of the speaker?

      And no, it wasn't the 3D tones.. people that I speak to always complain from an echoey or crackly distortion in the sound coming from my phone mic. And no, that without using the loudspeaker function.

        Has the battery life improved on this handset in comparison to the original N95??

            to brenda.afcourse n73 picktures is better from n95.n73 is unbeeteble champion for day picktures.for low light sonyerikson is litle bit better.i wait for nokia "touch" who must realise in summer maybe.i hope that from nokia will work at pickture quality,becouse this 5mpx series is worst from n73quality.

              @abdulla,

              You're welcome mate! Just make sure you get the black one N95 8GB NAM and NOT the N95-3 NAM. The difference of these two model is the screen display and ofcourse the color! Good luck mate!

                  Theres loads of cases available for the Black N95 sold on Ebay,the lens cover missing on the Black one was a big mistake by Nokia as you can"t look after your phone all the time an is proun to scratches,Nokia itself should have released a case by now to help you protect the lens cover but they don"t seem to realise the damage to lens makes your phones photos look bad, my N95-3 as the same back an i get feed up keeping my mobile inside a case all the time but i have to or my phone quality would deterate quickly

                          So for us non-techies, what is the difference with this and the N95 standard? Apart from no card slot and the 8GB internal memory and perhaps a slightly bigger screen.

                          Oh yes, and the colour black... So.. PLEASE, DO TELL...

                              @abdulla,

                              Customer is always right! Have the sealed box be opened before bringing it home! Check the contents. Exercise your rights...TRY BEFORE YOU BUY! If and when you get an old firmware you can check for your available firmware update here http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4226014 . Click on "Can I update", on Step 2 , enter your product code and click "GO".

                              Mate, if you live in New York, USA. Most likely you wouldn't be able to use the 3G features of N95 8GB due to different Frequency band being used in USA.

                              The facts:
                              N95 8GB has a frequency band of WCDMA 2100 which for Europe and Asia only.

                              N95-3 NAM has a frequency band of WCDMA 1900 & WCDMA 850 which for USA only.

                              I might be wrong about this. Please consult your Network provider first like AT&T and T-mobile about 3G support before buying this unit! Good luck on your choice!

                                @jRtN,

                                Mine is 10.0.021 too. I intend to stick around with my present firmware and wait for 15.0.015 rather than going thru a series of bring up-to-date! For me, it's a hassle to start all over again like installing applications!

                                      @BabyB,

                                      Does your computer have Bluetooth? I believe your referring to SmartCam to Souluna site! It's uses Bluetooth connectivity therefore you need to establish PAIRING between your computer and mobile phone!

                                        @S1NH,

                                        Mate by bringing up-to-date your firmware would mean flashing and refreshing your whole system! This brings you to install and use again any trial applications...way to go mate! hahaha
