1. Yes, you can download mp3s directly from nokia web browser.
2. I would suggest that before you buy N95 8GB, try to check its firmware version first by keying in *#0000#. Always insist for the latest firmware version 15.0.015. In this way you have to bring up-to-date anymore!

Hey guys,
Another late realisation.. Does any owners of this phone get a crackly sound when in a phone call? like a distirtion.. as if teh sound is too loud on the other end of the speaker?

yeah corse u can download mp3's from the browser directly. This is a nokia smartphone, not an iphone!
and yeah getting the latest firmware is a smart idea because the phone runs smoother and you get the FLV support!

on nokia forums it seems that u have to go to nokia service center to re-instate the spiderman key updated its not vodas problem..That could mean nokia hold the licence fnr the film..This fone is a gadet lovers utopia and for those torn between n82 or n95 who love a nice brite screen the n95 is brighter,and since we spend most of our time looking at the screen its the better choice...The n95 8gb is a feature rich multimedia beast of a fone

i plan on buying this phone tomorrow and i need some questions answered please: 1. Is it possible to download mp3 directly from the nokia browser onto the phone? 2. Do u guys recommed upgrading to the new firmware right away? If so, please walk me through how to go about doing it step by step as i am new to this and i dont want to mess up my new phone. i can use wifi to get onto the nokia music store. (im using an n95-1)
HOWEVER when i was using branded orange software, the nokia music store link used to take me to orange music store which you couldnt use wifi with.
is your situation similar?

When i want to download a song from "Nokia Music Store" on my phone, i can't use wifi. this means, even if the track is free i have to pay data charges. is there a way of fixing, or are there no data charges when downloading music?

NO, N95-2 doesn't have pre-installed Opera 8.6 phone browser but you can install it!
YES, N95-2 can play games in a 240x320 display resolution!
