nyamok, 10 Feb 2010can i do make a phone call through internet using skype fun... moreyes u need to register with the skype and then u have the phone option settings just on the internet and voice calls and u can use it---------- most ly u use head phones in the pc but in n95 u have direct voice configuration--------

hello people, when i shot 320x240 videos with the n95 8gb, its perfect but when i tried to shoot 640x480 resolution videos, it lags and the red light on the back keeps on flashing. do u know what the problem is. coz i really want to shoot videos in that resolution.

simply the best phone ever...wot doesnt it have.. its perfect for ppl who want quality with a bit of chunky style as once u get use 2 it.. ur useless.. they have actually taken time to go inside a normal/business man and for once nokia has made with fasanatin features.from the alarm to world clock, to office,maps..name annoucement wen person calls..i cud go on and on.. i wud be dead without this phone and wud recomend it to everyone.. u will not regret if u know and make use of it.. if u just want glits and glams and no the basics of answerin a phone then this aint 4 u...

Hi everyone, I also have the N95 8G and I love it. Somebody once said, this is an old phone but it still gives latest phones a run for everything they have. I have one question though, is it possible to download the latest firmware using the phone's browser or opera mini? Or it can only downloaded via pc only. Please help i wanna try to upgrade my firmware. If anybody has knowledge regarding this please help... Thank you

The N95 8GB now has European firmware version 35.0.001 available - this is a great improvement over the older firmwares. Bugs such as the 'alarm snooze' problem are fixed, there is an option to reduce the font size so menus become much smaller, and the phone is faster operationally.
I couldn't believe they brought out a new firmware even though this phone is no longer sold directly by Nokia! If you have any problems with your n95 or N95-8GB try the 35.0.001 (35.0.002 for original n95) and see if that cures it first!
Other questions around why Nokia waited until last year to finally provide the best firmware are outwith this comment ;-)
