Dont listen 2 thees ppl this phone is a great device im using it now..been a week and i updated my Firmware this morning and its so fast i wish it was slow...lol prob is i cnt N-gage 2 work any more....help

this phone might be discontinued soon, don't buy it. the nokia n96 has many many faults leave this rubbish alone wait for the newer series. keep away from this mobile keep away don't buy its useless rubbish

I have this phone and as i can tell there is nothing much special than the other phones except the sapphire. It a wonderful feeling to hold it because u feel that its solid.

2 all u people who updated to 12.043 firmware is there a major difference 2 your phones that makes the n96 a gr8 phone? does n96 lag or have any more problems?is it worth buying it? please reply

I recently got the n96, and want to transfer my animation vids to my phone, It's all on Windows Avi file. I change the format/Export the file to an Mpeg4 on Adobe After Effects, which has no sound, but can transfer and watch my vid on phone no problems, (But no sound)
I tried exporting in Adobe Premier but don't know how to do the same format. (hard to explain) But the setting or export I done wa a quick-time then Mpeg, but is essentially a quick-time file.
Or how do I covert my Avi files to an mpeg4 or Real player formatt.
HELP PLEASE :/

Pali79, 23 Dec 2008I just tried to upgrade the firmware to Version 12.043. Whe... moreIts simple just do the up date agen....if it dosnt allow u 2..then format the phone ...
"sitch it off ,while its off hold the folowing keys (*) (3) and (green call button) then switch the phone on while holding them all.....till pin or lock code riquest..."defoult lock code is 12345....

the only way I could update was through "devide manager", by gprs service (and not by competer+pc sync).
believe me, it's worth it.
