      Hey guys !
I dunno what you talking about i had N95 and upgraded to N96 .
There way more useful option in N96 + performance is better because it uses ARM9 and not ARM 11 like N95 .
So even it has not that hi frequency but performance still higher because of the platform .
There no any issues with memory also i have 13GB used now and all works fast and perfect .
There still some issues with software that you can fix with firmware updates .
Camera in N95 and N96 is the same module plus here they got DSP that gives you better video decoding and encoding performance and adds extra bat. life .
From my point of view N96 is really good upgrade option better then N95 8G because you've got 16GB of memory plus microSD slot that support sdHC .
Plus better sound quality and many other features .

                  hi everyone!
this is all i can say about nokia n96.the processor really is bad!!!the battery i dont have problems with it coz i have this energizer battery pack power supply which i can use anytime the battery gets low and i got an extra bl5f battery i got when i used to have N95.they shouldnt have supplied the n96 with a massive memory and some features like the accelarator sensor for auto rotate and some graphics which is an supposedly and improvement.but with that slow processor?tsk tsk tsk!
they shouldve stucked to that 330mgz speed like my E90 and my former N95 which has faster cpu even if it compromises the battery life coz you still have an option to buy an extended one or a power supply.what where they thinking when they made this unit?i know why they wanted to lower the cpu but they shouldve thought about the load it will take when they put it with a mssive memory.but one thing i like about this is the dvb-h tv reciever.i really loved it!coz it has better reception now than the N92 or the N77 and it doesnt hang when you watch longer...i hope...
i have this unit for two days now and ive upgraded the version to 11.101 hoping that it will do some good with the speed even to the point of defragmenting the mass memory and formatting it,which i regretted coz it deleted some pre loaded applications but who knows i thought that maybe one of those might have a bug thats why it is slow, but still it was still in vain!anyways ill stick to this until they come up with a better upgrade on the os which i did with my other units which gave some good performances as ive observed.anyways goodluck to those who buy this.its not a negative comment just spend your money wisely.and to nokia...pls your supporters for N96 needs your help on this problem.hope you could fix it coz it really is an expensive unit.thats all for now.thank you much!

N73 is the best selling smartphone of all time with sales of over 50 million units and its only two years old. Google it if you dont believe me. N82 and n79 will soon follow. The only place that iphone and iphone 3g sell is in the U.S. In other places, its sales arent too good.

                                        Anonymous, 17 Nov 2008Australian recommended retail prices:- N96 $1149 N958GB... moreBy far, the N95 8GB, but not because I have one :p !
                                        But because of the price/quality!

And... Btw... I loaded it fully, and it didn't hung.

Bttw , I lost an N95 8GB, and guess what I bought again! Another one! Why? Because it's simply the best. It's cheaper, it's got bigger screen than the N85 - trust me, it's worth it! It doesn't hang (for it's got the latest firmware; the N85 is still on its original one, N96 also).
However, should, for instance, my mother decide on buying a high-end cell phone, I'd advice her to go for N85. It's newer, girlier, with style, on top of the best specifications.
                                        Bye!
